My husband and I live in the Dallas area. We were looking for a great place for a night without our small children. When we checked in we enjoyed the pool with our children. We all had a great time! After dropping off the little ones we went back and enjoyed the area restaurants and the Belmont Bar. We had a fantastic time. It felt like we left the state! Great room, clean and over all great experience. Looking forward to our next getaway and next time getting a bigger room with the children.

I loved the architecture and the updated style of the old buildings. I had no complaints. Originally a motor court built in 1947, Hotel Belmont is a cross between Art Deco and Mediterranean styling. The landscaping is beautiful. There is a spectacular view of the Dallas skyline from the pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a very pleasant experience.

My friends and I decided to stay in town for the Fourth of July but wanted to have a fun "staycation" so we picked the Hotel Belmont. While the room we were in was a bit worn looking, the rest of the property was great - especially the views of downtown Dallas. The staff is especially wonderful and definitely committed to customer service. I would recommend this for out of town guests or locals looking for a fun getaway.

We loved this hotel: it had tons of character, and the staff members seemed genuinely friendly and helpful. Our room was very simply furnished (which is what we prefer), had some nice retro touches, and was spotless. We also appreciated the Belmont's sustainability efforts, including the bag for recyclables in the room. The area surrounding the hotel didn't seem very interesting. But there's easy access to downtown Dallas and some of the freeways, and the hotel and grounds have an oasis-like feel. We particularly enjoyed the pool. It's not huge, but definitely big enough to swim in rather than just splash around, and the setting is fabulous: bamboo hedges, flowering shrubs, and a great view of the Dallas skyline. We also enjoyed the very well equipped fitness center, located just a couple of minutes walk past the pool. The hotel's Cliff Cafe was a very pleasant surprise since the breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus all included a number of vegetarian/vegan options (including tempeh bacon at breakfast). Everything we ate there was excellent, and was also very reasonably priced.

Living space/common area was comfortable. Musty odor, no space around the sink, bad view -construction outside the room. We upgraded because we wanted a connecting room. We liked the common living area and the large screen TV. We bumped into the platform beds every time we walked around. The blankets has way too much texture that it was uncomfortable. No storage drawers in the bedroom. Our room was right next to a high voltage power source. Outside the windows of both our rooms, there was overgrown grass and construction; very scary to open the window. This hotel did not meet our expectations.

We stay here last year while in town for a concert. I had my doubts initially due to the neigborhood surrounding the hotel, but was pleasantly suprised. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were stylishly decorated. The saltwater pool was very relaxing, but the bar the real highlight as it's patio has an incredible view of downtown at night! I am definitly staying here next time I am in town.

This hotel is a fun place to stay. It has a lively crowd at night and very convenient to downtown Dallas.

The room, the ease of upgrade, top notch restaurant and wonderful staff. The view was outstanding. Exceptional hotel, it was very neat and clean. A simply beautiful location in and out, for anyone. The pool area was clean and just simply stated, beautiful. Easy access to anywhere in Dallas and interstates.

The Belmont was a very different setting than your modern day hotel. It was lovely at night and the view from the pool area was awesome! The bed was comfortable and the hotel was very conveniently located just a bit off of the freeway, but enough so as not to notice the noise. I would recommend the hotel.

It was quiet. Stark furnishings, no wireless internet, one bedside table & lamp. One chair. The room was too bare. I understand minimalist, but this was too minimal to be comfortable. One bed stand with a lamp. One chair, and I'm not talking easy chair. The chair was like something you'd find in a waiting room. There was no coffee in the room. I was told that I could get coffee in the bar in the morning, the pot was empty at 7:00 am. I had to walk downstairs to get ice! There was no information in the room to find these things out; only a room service menu. The room was clean despite the circa 1950 bathtub & tile.

The Belmont Hotel in Dallas was a great find. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff was accomodating and gave a great recommendation for dinner. The night we checked in, the hotel was showing an old movie outdoors at the pool. The place was packed. We will definitely being staying there again.

It is a small hotel with a very personal touch. The rooms are clean and the overall decoration is cozzy and modern. ALl the staff was very attentive and helpful. It is located just two minutes away from downtown.

I loved that it didn't fit the mold of a chain hotel. There was nothing I didn't like. Clean, bright, friendly and unusual is the Belmont Hotel. Situated high on a cliff, white stucco and clean modern hotel rooms - you couldn't beat this place if you wanted to see the real Dallas, especially from the pool that offered a skyline view of Dallas' downtown.

The Belmont at Dilbeck Court in Dallas has a unique location just a few minutes from downtown Dallas. The facility sits on a bluff overlooking the Trinity River and the view of downtown Dallas is unparalleled. The hotel is also located just a few minutes from the Bishop Street Art and Restaurant District and presents a small neighborhood mystique. Restaurants such as Hatties are very good both from the aspect of the cuisine and the value provided. The hotel staff is gracious and helpful and the morning breakfast buffet (although light) is a good way to start the day.

Everyone went out of their way to accommodate our needs. There was a very odd crowd of people that seemed to gather there.

I loved the views. Room was somewhat spartan; entertainment in lobby too loud. I enjoyed my stay, but the room was sparcely decorated, the matress was uncomfortable, the pillows also. I could not get a good nights sleep on them. The staff was wonderful, the hotel was also nicely maintained. I was there on a night which featured entertainment that was far too loud and lasted far too late and too long.

Retro kitsch decor. Bathrooms were small and needed a bit of work. This place is great for the money. The decor is very retro kitsch. I stayed for 4 days with my wife and 18 month old daughter. The exercise facility was great (it is actually a full on site gym) and the pool was amazing. Although it was a bit cool when we were there we swam every day thanks to the well heated outdoor pool. The only word of warning I would give is that if you go with small babies be sure to bring your own pack and play since the hotel doesn't have cribs available. Overall very nice
