After I booked our room directly through the hotel, we arrived at the hotel and looked at the room. It was the lowest priced room when we booked for the highest level room which including the soaking tub and fireplace which is the sole difference between the rooms. First we were told we booked at the lowest price room and they were not sure they could move us to the highest price room. Eventually they called the GM who okayed the change. I?m glad as the first room had ripped carpeting. We asked not to be near the elevator. Despite that, we were assured we would not be next to the elevator but it was the room right next to the elevator. This was changed upon a further request. Despite at least 3 different remote controls with different batteries over 3 days, we were told it was our tv that had the problem that the volume down and channel changing up and down only made the volume louder. You had to be within 3 feet of the tv to actually have the remote work correctly. We just could not change rooms again even though that offer was never made. The limo only works if there is enough guests or their driver does not call in sick. Twice we went to Foxwoods by their van. Yes it?s transportation, but it is definitely not the limo you see in their pictures. We were also told at 5 p.m. on Friday the chef would be in until 1:00 a.m. We came back from Foxwoods and ordered dinner at 12:10 a.m. only to be told the chef left at midnight and we could not order from the dinner menu. Waitress does hair in bar. owner offered to fire employee quoting price, spa was closed.

What a great hotel. My wife and my 30yr old daughter and her daughter all had a great stay. Great staff starting with Crystal who took my reservation and Linda behind the desk who was very accomodating. Nice breakfast with plenty of stuff and great coffee. We took advantage of the pool and found the walls around the pool and hotel to be beautiful. Just wanted to say thanks and we hope to be back. Bella-Bellissimo Grande. Ciao, Gerry T

I wanted someplace close to foxwoods, that was not a cheesy motel. This place was perfect, they even have a complimentary limo that goes back and forth every 30 min. The rooms where well appointed and had nice decorations. The bed was comfortable and clean. For a relatively cheap hotel this place seemed a class above. If your staying for a night or the weekend this place is perfect.

The location is perfect. Mystic and all it has to offer and the casinos. Limo to Foxwoods is first class and fun I just wish it would run a little later during the week. Because the room rates are so wonderful during the week that's a great time to go. The restaurant was very good and the service throughout the hotel is wonderful. Very nice and accomodating. We've stayed in the room with the tub and this time without and both very nice.

We stayed overnight with 3 young children. The workers were friendly, the hotel was very clean and nicely decorated, and it's location made it very convenient and easy to find! We took the kids in the complimentary limo to Foxwoods(which runs every hour up until midnight) , which they really loved! The pool was clean with fresh towels always laid out. The water was nice and warm, too! We didn't get a chance to try the restaurants, but the breakfast they set out in the morning was good. The pillow-top beds were super comfy. I think this is a perfect place to stay if you want to visit Foxwoods! It's a very good value for the price! We will absolutely return!!

First of all, the property is beautifully detailed. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and accomodating. Going to Foxwoods via strtch limo was fabulous! It made you feel like a high roller! The room itself, The Venetian, was terrific, with the whirlwool tub, actually in the room. The beds are extremely comfortable, although we found the cable TV stations were somewhat limited to CNN, local news, sports and the Carton Network. Although one does not stay at a hotel for its complimentary breakfast, the complimentary breakfast was good, not great. Apples are okay but, it would have been nice to have bananas or oranges in the morning. Perhaps another flavor of yogurt available as well. You also have to get there early to have access to the toaster and seating - minor issues though. All in all, this hotel is a great place is stay at for either a nice relaxing time, or an exciting casino adventure if you want that instead.

I don't know what most people think of when they book a suite versus a room. I was expecting a sitting room separate from the bedroom, maybe a microwave/mini kitchen area, etc. What I got was a room - nothing special, a room like I would get in a Holiday Inn or Ramada. There was nothing wrong with the room. It was clean and nice enough - just not what I expected. OK - I accepted the room as a suite and settled in. After visiting friends about an hour away, and arriving back at the hotel around 8:00, I checked out the room service menu. It was extremely limited but I thought, no problem, I'll go to the Bistro and order something to go. When I walked in, I was totally ignored. I finally approached the bartender and asked if I could order something to go. He told me they were too busy and I should try again in an hour. As another employee hurried past, he asked him if they could do a to-go order. This man also said no way and said it would be at least an hour and a half. I retreated to my room (not a suite) and called the front desk to ask if there were snack machines anywhere in the building. I was told no but that she might be able to dig through her desk and find some crackers. I rejected that offer. I would have run out and picked up something locally, but other than the casino, there isn't anything. I finally decided to call room service but got the front desk again. Room service was too busy to take orders or calls. I was told to call back at 10:00. At 10:45, I finally got food.

I am so glad I found this hotel online. It is brand new and offers a free limo to Foxwoods Resort. The staff was friendly and really informative. I had a room with a jacuzzi and I got to try one of those temperpedic beds....it was great. I really liked the indoor pool, they keep it real warm. The bar has great food. I saw the spa but did not get a chance to try it...Maybe next time. I will go back and stay there again. The hotel is beautifully decorated. The location and the price is great.

We had a very nice stay, 1 night. The limo service to the casino was great. We ate dinner at the hotel and it was so good that we ordered room service after our night at the casino. Even at 12:30pm it was delivered rather quickly. I would stay here again on my next overnight stay. The room itself was clean and just as pictured on the website.

The Bellissimo Grande Hotel was a great experience all around. The rooms were spacious and well decorated. The Limo ride to Foxwoods was excellent and made us feel pretty special. I was able to save some money and spend it on an extra gift for my wife

The Bellissimo Grande was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were very large, and very clean although sparsely furnished. The check-is staff was extremely friendly, and both check-in and check-out personnel made sure that we received the very best rate that we could come up with. The continental breakfast was very sparse, but the bagels were delicious. It seems like they are trying to be Grande, but some amenities, like the shower material do not quite make it. The tempur-pedic bed was wonderful and the pillows were just right for me. We did notice the availability of the limo, but we did not use it. The location is great - close to I-95 and Foxwoods. We would definitely stay there again. Although the hotel was not nearly full, it was very quiet, which means we have no idea how quiet it would be if it were full. However, we did notice a noise policy pasted on the bathroom mirror which led us to believe that they have had problems in the past. All in all it was a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Bellissimo. The limousine ride to Foxwoods was great. The breakfast was not good at all. It offered danish, yogurt, coffee, juice, apples and cereal. We received a coupon for a free appetizer but was unable to use it because we stayed one night and dined at the casino. The rooms are great, the staff was very friendly and the bed was comfortable. I plan on staying again but for more than one night. I could not understand why the Friday and Saturday night price is double of the Sunday-Thursday stay. It was enjoyable.

I have stayed in a room with a king size bed. The bed wasnt that confortable but, manage to have a good night sleep. The fitness room was very small and the breakfast area was crowded. The ride to Foxwoods from the Limo they provide was excellent.

We were looking for a hotel close to Mystic Seaport. After reading several reviews of the local hotels in Mystic, many of which had negative reviews, we decided to give the Bellissimo Grande a try. It turned out to be just what we needed. The hotel is very new, so everything looked and smelled good (none of that "sprayed with disinfectant a thousand times" smell). It was about 15 minutes to Mystic and apparently is very close to the big casino. It looked like there was a limo there to ferry those who want to donate money to the casino. A plus for us...the location was very quiet. The hotel sits well off a rural road. We heard no road noise from our room at all. The bed appeared to be one of those "memory foam" types...extremely comfortable. The included breakfast was simple but adequate...good coffee, juice, cereal, bagels, fruit. The staff was friendly. The only negative I can think of...and it didn't matter to us...if you want to be somewhere from which you can walk to the local sights, this is not it. It requires getting in a car for pretty much anything. But that aside, I'd recommend the hotel to those bound for the Mystic area or the casino.

My wife and I enjoyed the stay at the hotel and were impressed with the staff.I would enlarge the tavern/pub area th allow more people to sit down and have a cocktail to be ready for their trip to Foxwoods. The Limo rides were great and our driver was the best.Overall I would recommend this hotel to all my friends.Keep up the good work.
