Very large rooms in superior class. Average size in standard class. Everything is different in the two classes. Excellent breakfast. Very good location relating to transport means. Very clean, sound-proof rooms. Stylish furniture in good condition.

I chose this hotel because I didn't want to pay the premium prices of the Ringstrasse hotels, but I regretted that decision when we arrived. The lobby is beautiful, but our room was ugly, especially at night when lit only by the lamps with the orange lamp shades. The front desk staff didn't seem very welcoming, but did give us the help we needed when we asked. The location isn't great, as I knew, but public transportation is easily available nearby. The restaurant has a cover charge and the food was pricey, but quite good. This hotel didn't quite meet my expectations, but it was certainly an adequate place to stay and probably worth what we paid.

Place forstop to chek-in in front of the hotel. Our good impression was shadowed by the discomfort related to the places for stop to check-in. There are civil persons who survey the parking areas of the city. They hunt the foreigner tourists who don’t know the parking rules in the front of the hotel when they make the check-in. The hotel administration must do something about this.

The decor was perfectly Viennese, with neo-classical accents and period paintings adorning the walls. A grand marble staircase made one feel like royalty en route to one's room. The room was bright, with high ceilings, nice colors, and lots of space. The room's desk, with fast, free internet connectivity made the trip productive and efficient as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was a delicious buffet of fruits, breads, meets and cheeses. The hotel was located right next to public trams, and a couple blocks from the U-Bahn. A tree-lined path along the Danube canal, two blocks away, provided a splendid place for a morning jog or walk.

Location near public transportation. Poor service. The breakfast buffet offered very little, despite the price of 14 euros. At breakfast, I had to ask for butter, and it was spoiled. On the first day, our room was cleaned. On the second day, our room had not been cleaned and the bed was not made. When we complained on our way out, they sent up fresh towels but our bed was still not made and the room had not been cleaned.

Noise-insulated room. Superb breakfast. Helpful staff. Convinient location-transport.

Older but elegant. Small elevators.

Worst hotel I stayed in during 16 day trip in Europe. No air conditioning or fans, grump behind the front desk. Elevators barely big enough to hold four average size people--forget the luggage! Appeared run down, though may be trying to renovate.

The room was spacious and clean. The front desk couldn't direct us to activities or events.

Very quiet, clean, close to public transit. No restaurant (bar only). Wonderfully quiet hotel, convenient to public transit (tram on the corner, Metro/subway a few blocks away), grocery market and internet cafe within steps. Definitely recommend!
