It looks like it came out of the scene of a 1970's movie. It was trashy. Our carpeting was wet and the outdoor pool was totally destroyed with no water in it. Do not stay here, pay the extra $20 for a better hotel. We checked out early

Was clean, good parking. TV was lousy, too much of a cleaning smell. Clean rooms and small pool hot tub was hot but didn't work.

This hotel wasnt a 5 star hotel but as a summer hotel close to Cedar Point and not a pocket pincher, this is a great hotel. I knew going into it that i wouldnt get the most amazing room and things but I got what I had expected.Clean rooms good staff and an all around good trip to sandusky ohio

Nice, quiet location. The guy said the jets on the hot tub weren't that great, but the temperature of it wasn't either. My bath tub was hotter than that hot tub! The indoor pool was FREEZING, and the outdoor pool advertised wasn't even open =( The rooms were nice. We only got about 5 channels on the TV, and I did kill a spider in the bathroom (and one even chased me out of the "hot tub") We arrived back at our hotel late afternoon the next day only to be locked out with neither of our keys working. Luckily, our stuff was still inside, and the staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful in getting us back in. Our nonsmoking room was in a smoking wing of the building...I'm still trying to figure that one out. The hotel was set up like a Comfort Inn, but it wasn't like any Comfort Inn I ever stayed in!

Biker friendly! Small full size fold up bed. Over all the hotel and staff were clean. Courteous and accommodating to bikers. I would stay here again!

We booked this room b/c it offered the best pkg, price, and ratings for a 4th of July weekend. Our intentions was a nice room to stay in while we traveled to Cedar Point. All I can say is the hotel fixed up just what they photographed, but it wasn't the complete picture. Based on the photos and reviews this looked like a nice hotel but when we got there it turned out to be more like the "Projects" or any other random motel. When we drove up it was late and hard to find b/c the rooms are actually in other buildings. When we got there the lobby appears to have marble and granite but it is closed off by bullet proof glass like a sleazy motel would be, not like the photos lead you to believe. The front desk clerk was nice and very accommodating. I am not sure but i don't think this place even offers room service. Over all the pool never stood out so i don't know if it really existed. As for the room amenities the air condition did not work and our room window had no screen. This place is ideal if you are looking for a standard motel with standard amenities. This place should really be called Bellevue Motel not hotel and suites !

nice, pleasant, but mild odor in hallway. but, the room was very nice.

Price. Non-smoking label but smelled like smoking room. Good deal for the price especially considering the exorbitant prices closer to the lake such as Port Clinton and Sandusky and is within driving distance of both areas and their attractions.

The shower made noises, there were cigarate burns and holes in the comforter, floor was very stained, and glitter on the ceiling. If we weren't charged such an outrageos price for such a lousy room, it wouldn't have been as bad.

Rooms were all real rundown. They didnt have the room we paid for online. Gave us a two bedroom smoke smelling room. The pictures they show make the hotel look decent but the rooms are all dirty inside. Staff was not that friendly.

The location was good. Not in the middle of everything but still close. There is a bar in the hotel. A lot of the people came to their rooms late and were loud. This hotel was OK. Not really family recommended due to the bar and loud patrons. They continued to be loud after they were in their rooms. We were going to Cedar Point (my fiancé and I) and it was close enough without be around all the traffic. There is a diner out front but I'm not sure if it is open and there is a McDonald's near by.

This was not that bad of a hotel. It was outdated as far as the room accessories (red carpet, lights, dressers, tv, chairs, bedspread, iron, etc.). Room was clean! The front desk person was great, very friendly. We were visiting Cedar Point amusement park so it was about 15 miles away......not too bad if everything else is booked up, however, next time I will try something a little closer. The only reason I would not stay here again is because my sole reason for coming was to visit cedar point and there ar so many more choice that are within 2 miles of the park, so its a no brainer to get closer next time.

The room was spacious and clean. The common areas are unattractive and need to be updated. The room was quite noisy. The tv reception was very poor. Only a few channels were available. The price was reasonable but we would not stay there again.

My boyfriend and I were taking a road trip out to Colorado and stopped in some places in Ohio. We wanted a place to stay to sleep at night that could fit our low budget, yet close enough to Cedar Point. It was great because the hotel offered each of us a Pepsi can that gave *off at Cedar Point, and also offered a place to pick-up a shuttle to the park (saved money on parking). Its about 20 minutes away from the park in a small town. The front desk staff was always very nice. The continental breakfast was lacking..only had coffee and a couple pastrys, although there is a small resturant that is right out front and a mcdonalds down the street. The hotel had a pool and hot tub, but neither looked like something to brag about. Our room had a small fridge so that was nice to be able to put our drinks in. The bed was nothing too spectaular, but at the end of a day at Cedar point we only wanted a place to sleep. If you are looking for something romantic this is not for you, but if you just need a cheap place to fit a budget this might be good.

My boyfriend and I took a trip to Cedar Point, and because we couldn't check in before getting to the park, we called in advance to let them know we'd be checking in fairly late. When we arrived, it took 20 minutes of waiting and us actually calling the front desk to get someone's attention; apparently ringing the doorbell (instead of a normal bell) wasn't enough. The room was nice and clean, though we did not spend much time there. It wouldn't be a bad place for a vacation in which more time is spent in the room and the price was definitely excellent, especially considering the lack of time spent in the hotel.

Older motel but very well taken care of. Small fridge was cracked on the bottom but clean inside. If you like new things this is not the place for you. I will be going back every year. The location was very safe, no crime and law enforcement everywhere! Three fast food places open till 3 am. My 18 year old got a wonderful history lesson about how things used to be 35 years ago. Remember the good old days? Well this place is it! Good location for Cedar point guests. A good secret get away. There are train tracks nearby but thanks to good landscaping the hills reflect the sound and you cannot hear anything once inside the motel.
