In spite of best effort at research & advance request we were given smallest "standard room." It turned out to be the size of a large walk-in closet. We've stayed in several european hotels before but this was the smallest. Moreover, the ceiling of the bathroom shower was slanted (with the pitch of the roof) so that you couldn't stand up straight) while showering. This room should be removed from the list of standard rooms and prospective guests should be warned.

just stayed there with my partner on 25th march 09. we found this hotel very close to all amenities.Spotless clean. rooms towels bedding all snow white. very enjoyble stay would definitely go back

I thought the hotel would be old - just the opposite. Recently rebuilt - only the front looks old. Rooms clean and modern with plasma TV, private bath. Yes I was right on the street with trams, but the low level occassional noise was not a problem. Staff very helpful (made a restaurant reservation on request) and the location (a block from Central Station) was great. Bed was two singles pushed together so might be a problem for couples. In room wireless internet included and has elevator. Breakfast right next door (not included in my package).

The Bellevue is in a good location, great value. The rooms are very small but comfortable. I would stay there again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are tiny, but very skilfull organised. The location cannot be better!

Very short walk from Central Station. Breakfast was OK, not memorable. Room small and just OK. Free wifi.

Very near the train station. the breakfast is good. All the staffs speak the English.

This is the second time that I have stayed at this hotel in the last year and I can highly recommend it. The location is perfect and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The same lady who was working at the front desk the last time we were there was working when we arrived this time and she immediately recognized us. The hotel provides a great breakfast buffet with lots of choices. This would be my hotel of choice anytime that I am in Amsterdam but it is often not available due to it's popularity.

Location is great: about 50 m to railway station. Hotel was clean ja silent. The room was very small thinkin it was for two and I was there alone. I will go again.
