This hotel is a nice place for a one night stop-over given its vicinity to the airport. We stayed for a few nights because we looked its proximity to the highways and didn't want to deal with the traffic in Palermo. The rooms were simple but had balconies with nice views. However, the chairs on the balcony were dirty and old so I don't think you would ever want to spend time there. The bathrooms were very small with a shower that barely fits a single individual. However, they did the trick.The city of Sferravacallo is disgustingly dirty. Don't expect that you will enjoy eating there on a given night. If you do stay here, you're better off driving the 15 mins to Mondello and enjoying the waterfront there.Long and short, the hotel is simple and does the trick if you are leaving for the airport the next morning. Otherwise, we would not recommend this hotel as a place to stay.

Good, friendly and comfortable hotel - Maurizio on reception is incredibly hepful. Ideal for arrivals and departures from Palermo as it is only minutes from the airport and about 20 minutes from downtown Palermo (with a good connecting bus service if you don't want to take a car into the chaos of the city itself. Tricky to locate if you look for 'Vicino' (as in the listing). The hotel is actually in Sferracavallo and straightforward to find there. Excellent fish restaurants, pizzerias and bars around the harbour, just a few minutes walk from the hotel. We would certainly use it again.

Not easy to find if coming from the airport. A sign is needed on the slip road coming off the Palermo road.

The hotel is only about 10 mins from the airport, but there is no noise from aircraft. It is only a short walk to the nearest village and there is a bus stop opposite the hotel, so if you don't have your own transport it is not a problem to get around. The hotel is rather dated, but that is not unusual.
