Everyone was very nice and helpful and the rooms were very quiet compared to some. The only complaints we had were the internet was down until the day we left and the rug in the room seemed as though it was never vacuumed around edges. Other than the floors and internet we had a very pleasant stay. We come to this area several times a year and will stay here again.

We booked our rooms but when we got there the reservation was on a Master Charge, we do not own a Master Charge so we had to give our American Express card and we were charged again. I am denying your charge to our card as we had to pay it ourself when we checked out. Hotel is not clean but their rates were cheaper $* a night compared to $*you quoted. Will not use travelocity again,.

We stayed here because it is next door to the Homosassa Spring wildlife refuge. There was a bridge crossing over to the park. It was great for that. We achieved what we came for...time with the manatees. We arrived after 3 AM after a 14 hour drive. They had unbooked our reservation saying that it was known policy because we arrived so late. They had one room left that was 2 doubles instead of a king. The desk clerk was not very nice about it. I got up at 11 and tried to get a cup of coffee there were none available and no coffee maker in the room. We tried to find a place to rent a canoe. We drove for a long time and never found any where that would rent to someone that was not staying with them. They are under new management. They are not affiliated with the spa. They don't even own the restaurant. They only own the rooms and the pool. The travelocity price made this a good deal.

The location is perfect. The roof in the bathroom over the bath tub leaked non stop. I used this hotel when my mom die in 2005. The hotel was five stars in my opinion. Today it does not deserve one star.

It's not a five star motel nor a spa. However it is convenient for fishing, and descent place to stay for the area. Over priced for the room, yes. They say the food is good but I dine at nearby resturants. I will stay again next year.

I liked nothing. The room was dirty, they offered no complimentary coffee, and the grounds were not kept. The rooms were dirty, the coffee maker provided had not been cleaned, they did not change the sheets for us, and so we have no way of knowing whether they were changed from the previous guests. The common grounds were a mess and when I notified the owner he did nothing about overflowing trash, garbage on the walkways, the grass was not cut.

simple MOTEL close to everything

The room itself was fine. Appropriate to the price. Took us a long time and three room changes to get into a proper room. It sits beside a very nice state park and the guests at that park take a boat ride which passes by the motel. It would not take that much effort to put a nicer face on that part of the motel that the park guests see.

Convenient. No hot water. Fair, when I called the front desk concerning the lack of hot water in the shower, all they could say is that it's on the way.

The Bella Oasis has a very deceiving name. And not just the words "bella" and "oasis". It is more of a motel than a hotel - all the rooms are on the outside. Although I was told my room was "newly renovated", the intense stench of stale smoke is what greeted me upon first opening the door. The walls may have been painted, and the mattress may have been replaced, but the towels were gray with age, the entire room stunk, and there was actually a dehumidifier in the room, an indication that it was damp and uninhabitable. This motel has so much potential - it does have a spa right next door, and the spa is clean, professional and well-run. It is also steps away from the wildlife park, a definite plus. But the rooms are just not nice. I checked out after one night of my planned 2-night excursion because the smell of the room was just so awful and there were stains on one of the blankets on the bed. No one in the world who would want to stay at a "hotel & spa" would want to stay at this property.

The front desk provided change and sold soap for the laundry room. The grounds are a little neglected, but the new owners are striving to improve the appearance. Homosassa is a small town about an hour's drive north of Tampa airport. This motel is in a great, central location, easy for us to reach relatives in several directions. You can walk next door to the state Manatee Park. We hope to stay there again on our next visit.

Very accommodating staff. Does not apply. Comfortable, affordable, if in the area again would stay there again.

"I was very disappointed with my stay here. My room was dirty, towels were stained. 1 bottle of generic shampoo. Terrible continental breakfast. Not a ""spa"" experience! Do NOT expect to be pampered in any way, at least not if you book a standard room!"

Location, Full Breakfast on site, friendly helpful staff. Not the cleanest, restaurant was outside and not to our liking served. Served our needs well, but could have been a little nicer.

"We stayed at this hotel for a business trip and were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The restaurant on site was WONDERFUL! The food was amazing and the staff was equally great. Everyone was very gracious and friendly. The only drawbacks were the rooms - the furnishings are very dated and need updating and there are no fridge or microwaves in the room (there is a small coffee maker). However, it is very quaint & cozy and a great stop if your in the area. There's a manatee & wildlife park right next door which was great!"

Location. Not a spa, breakfast was a rip-off. Just an old motel.

"This is anything BUT relaxing. The box springs had dried vomit on the sides of them, the floors were filthy, and the place smelled of stale cigarettes. Would NOT recommend to ANYONE! "

When my husband & I travel, we always bring sanitary wipes to clean all the surfaces we will be touching. Our room surfaces were spotless. The building, grounds and the rooms were in excellent condition. The landscaping was wonderful.

Location, perfect for the state park. Pool was solar heated & was cold because of lack of sun. This hotel needs to be rerated. Much nicer than we expected based on the 1 star. It was at least 2 stars of even higher. Room was huge and seemed to be recently redecorated. Pool area was large and well maintained. Has a small lounge and restaurant. You were able to walk over a very scenic little bridge to the Homossassa Nature Par. It was really a very nice place.
