Description:
Opened in 2005, this may be the better new small boutique hotel outside Bucharest. Its narrow 1890s facade hides a 400 year old building stretching back to a small garden. Rooms are well designed and include several spacious, airy apartments with private views away from street noise.Brasov, also known by its 'Saxon' name Kronstadt, was settled in the 13th century to become a highly fortified and wealthy merchant outpost of the Holy Roman Empire and then the Austro-Hungarian Empire the end of WW I. The inn and its cellar restaurant face the town's large and bustling central town square restored in recent years.The hotel provides 22 accommodation rooms structured into singles, doubles, studio flats and apartments. The rooms are equipped with the following facilities: air-conditioning, colour and cable TV, phone, internet access, safety-box, minibar. Moreover,the bathrooms of the apartments have jacuzzi.All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid Credit Card that will be charged on arrival date. Credit Cards accepted: Master Card, American Express Card and Visa Credit Card (Visa Debit Card can not be used to make reservation).

It's easy to get to Brasov but once there, for a first time visitor, hard to find one's way to the charming part of the old town. 2 12 hours from Bucharest via the main Sinaia Carpathian valley road.
