Lovely SuiteThe suite was lovely and had a sea view, bed very comfortable and beautiful crisp white cotton sheets, just what I expect from a nice hotel.

Beiderbecke's hotel ScarboroughAccommodation very good and staff very helpful. Not a lot of car parking available on hotel property so could be difficult to find parking if arrived late or at a busy time of day. We ate in the hotel restaurant - staff very helpful however we found food to be poorly seasoned and so very bland.

Its about as good as it gets in scarboroughAlthough the rooms are a little jaded and in need of a refurb (still have showers over the bath and no curtain) the friendly staff, the welcome and the constant smiles were a pleasure to witness. The staff just couldn't do enough and they were genuinely happy to help - so unusual today! The food in the resteraunt was absolutely fantastic although romm bed and breakfast doesnt tell you that you only get £20 of the cost of your eveningmeal - not the full 3 courses in with the price, however £20 gets you two courses of the most delicious food, served by happy and helpful staff. I can't express enough just how helpful and approachable the staff were - an absolute credit to themselves and the hotel.

Scarborough break for three couplesAfter searching for a hotel and reading loads of bad reviews we decided on Beiderbecke's and were very pleased with the accommodation. The three rooms we used were all different but really nice, clean and spacious. The hotel is in an excellent position for the resort. We didn't eat in the hotel apart from breakfast which very good.We did think the bar prices were quite high.

excellent location & family friendlywe travelled with our 5 week old daughter for our first experience away from home. Staff at the hotel couldnt have been nicer. Anything we needed for our baby was just an ask away. Rooms great size for travel cot still lots of room even with all our baby stuff!!! We ate our evening meal in the hotel which was excellent along with breakfast. Would definitely stay again and reccommend anyone to stay as location great for centre of town and also access to sea front.

Quick stay overnightThe bedroom was all we needed, CLEAN, large & comfortable. We dined out so can not comment on the evening meal, however breakfast was fine.All the staff we met were friendly and polite."Late rooms" booking discount made this very good value for money.The hotel has a patio, where we enjoyed a late drink in the sun.

The first time we have stayed in a hotel in Scarborough that truly felt like a high quality hotelWe had a really big room with large bathroom. The double glazing cut out the noise from the road. Service was excellent - we felt very welcomed and the relaxed atmosphere with attention to customer service really enhanced our stay. The restaurant area where we ate breakfast was really lovely. Could not fault it - we will definitely stay there again.

Poor roomWe stayed for a Saturday night, and probably had the worst room in the hotel. It was on the third floor, but the lift only went to the second. The room was in the eaves so had limited head room for half its area. The window looked as if it had not been cleaned for months - there was mould and mildew on the glass and around all the window frame and glazing bars. The door to the bathroom would not close. It jammed against the top of the doorframe. It stuck so firmly that my wife could not open it from inside. What I found unnaceptable was that the male receptionist to whom I reported all of this to did not appear to care. There was no expression of regret, no apology. He did go to view the room and said that he would report the problems to the housekeeping staff and maintence men. However, nothing could be done until after our stay was over. I cannot imagine that there was no-one on the premises who could not use a bottle of windolene!The restaurant was superb. The food was good and the service excellent.

Very pleasabt seaside hotelGood rooms and friendly staff. Fine breakfast and nice public rooms. Ideally situated for the town centre shops, bars and restaurants. The only complain, and it is a very monir one, is that the ist is tiny and would not fit 2 people and their cases.

The Place For A Relaxing StayWe found the staff very helpful nothing was too much trouble. The room was very spacious and clean. The food was very good everything about our stay at this hotel was exceptional and we have every intention of hoping to stay here each time we decide to stay in Scarborough.

Beiderbecke'sBooked suite which was large and had sea views. Room very good, though bath a little small. Was a bit chilly when I arrived, so it was really useful to have radiators. The bed was comfortable, and there was a settee in the room, and a table and chairs. The telly and remote were a bit out-of-date. Food good, though meat dishes needs some flavour and seasoning. Service in restaurant was excellent.

Great Hotel This is a great Hotel and ideally situated for both the sea front and the shopping cente.Beautifully clean and well organised and the breakfasts set you up for the day.What is also so great is the well organised approach to parking which in Scarborough could be expensive and a head ache. Will definately be going back for a visit in the near future.

Short breakUnfortunately the room we had was on the third floor and the lift only goes to the second.This meant a walk through the second floor to a very steep narrow staircase. The room was quite big - liked the dressing room and nice big bathroom. Water pressure was very good and absolutely instant hot water was excellent. A screen and a shower rail would have been good.The window was high up so you could only see out when standing up which was a pity as it was a nice view. The decor was a bit tired - could do with freshening up as several marks on the walls. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Restaurant was full due to a function but dinner menu served in a side room. Really good, well presented food.

This Hotel was ideally situated for the town centre and close to the beach. The staff were very polite and friendly. I was disappointed with the room with regards to noise, there was a fan which was on all night and I was unable to get any sleep. The receptionist did ask if I had asked to be moved, (as it was after midnight - the thought didnt enter my head) There was also no hot water the next morning. Both of these were addressed professionally by the receptionist, and I was assured they were not known problems and would be looked into. The breakfast was excellent, the restaurant/bistro had a lovely feel to it. I would revisit as I do feel the problems I encountered were an exception.

The Best Hotel in Scarborough, what more can I say !!!!!!Excellent Hotel, smashing rooms, fantastic staff, wonderful food, always made to feel extremely welcome, if I ask for anything nothing is to much trouble, I have been staying there since the 6th April and as my business will keep me in Scarborough for several months I will continue to stay there.

Special Occasion - Mar 20091st stay at this hotel, and was made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. All staff were very friendly. Room (standard double) was excellent, very large and comfy bed.Breakfast was very good with the waitress being efficient and friendly - only downside was that Haddock was on the menu, but was not available on either day of our stay. The Kippers and Full English were a tasty substitute.Had dinner in the restaurant on our second night - food was excellent - strongly recommend the Orange Bread & Butter pudding with Cointreau Custard.Location was ideal, close to shops and South Bay.

Great location, excellent sized roomsThis was my first stay at the hotel, and what a lovelly place it is! Very easy to find, and the on site parking is very handy in such a busy resort. Very handy for s quick strol around the town and the South Bay.All members of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Very pleased with the size of the room we had - a proper sized bathroom! We didn't dine in the hotel, but the drinks we had in the lounge were good value. Breakfast was fresh and had a good range. I would stay here again if returning to Scarborough.
