the faults I had with this hotel was the fact that the room walls were like cardboard and I was kept awake all nigth by other guests moving around. they weren't being noisey but I could here every word and every step they made! also the cleaners woke me up very early rustling around outside my very thin door!

Nice Hotel - Would RecommendI've stayed at The Beeches Hotel previously, and once again it lived up to the high standards I have come to expect. We did not eat in the hotel's on-site restaurant, but the nearby Cafe 91; the food was excellent quality and amazing value for money.

Exceelent value for moneyWe paid a very cheap last minute rate which included dinner in a nearby cafe which was very good. Our room was in the older part of the hotel and was very quiet and peaceful. The room was large and comfortable and contained everything necessary for our stay. The room was slightly tatty - a little refurbishment and more attention to detail would have made it top rate. The bar and breakfast room were very nice. The cooked breakfast was rather greasey and salty - I would have preffered it grilled. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the centre of Norwich and it was very easy to get to the coast the next day.

Very pleasant hotel very close to the city centre. We were upgraded to a superior room at no extra cost which was quite spacious. Overall the hotel was quiet. The hotel comprises three separate buildings with reception only in one. Whilst breakfast is served in the hotel, it is slightly unusual if you wish to eat dinner at the hotel, as the restaurant is about 3-4 minutes walk away (Cafe 91). The menu didn't contain a huge choice but the service was very pleasant.

A very individual hotel, in a quiet, leafy location, surprisingly close to the city centre. A very pleasant evening at the hotel's nearby restaurant was unfortunately spoiled by the hotel breakfast the following morning, both in quality & service. This was particularly disappointing because of the high standard we experienced during our stay last year.

The Beeches/ A friendly, efficient, clean and comfortable hotelA very nice hotel with friendly and attentive staff. Our room included dinner and breakfast in the price. Dinner was taken at their bistro no more than 100 metres away from the hotel. The choice of food on the included dinner menu was fine and the food itself was cooked vey well and presented with care.We were served by a gentleman who made us feel at home and who had a great attention to detail. We were very impressed by both the hotel itself and the staff who had obviously been well trained and who took pride in their customer care. Breakfast was served in the hotel itself. Again the lady who served us gave us excellent service and was most friendly. We were also very impressed by the lady on reception. We had a slight problem with our original room as we could not turn the radiator off and it was far too hot to be able to sleep in that room. The lady on reception could not get hold of the hotel handyman as it was past 8pm. She immediately moved us to another room and we were able to sleep very comfortably. Again, the sign of both natural friendliness and excellent training but also good judgement and priority-setting.

Very well located for exploring Norwich. Comfortable, friendly, gardens a bonus not to be missedFriendly service from reception and waiting staff. We had one of the modern rooms in the new extension which offered all we needed. Did take a peek at the rooms in Plantation House which were of an extremely high standard. Will definately make Beeches our base whenever visiting Norwich area.

Friendly & very helpful Hotel

Good hotel, good locationSecond time staying at the Beeches, once again impressed with the friendliness of the welcome and assistance. Was in the main hotel this time, room a bit tired, but still good value for money. Breakfast much better organised than previous visit and OK. The food is not fabulous, but in my experience on a par with many other establishments of this type.

Beeches Hotel was excellent!Despite reading slightly negative reviews of this hotel, we had absolutely no problems at all and had a very pleasant stay there. The hotel is in a beautiful location in the gardens, walking distance into the city centre, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very nice, and generally all was good. No complaints at all.

I cannot reccomend this hotel enough: absolutely wonderful, faulty towers without the \"faulty!\"friendly, helpful, fantastic room with french doors overlooking the gardens. The cafe 91 was also lovely, an informal bistro with excellent food and service. I actually stayed an extra 2 nights as i was enjoying myself so much !! I would recommend the beeches wholeheartedly and look forward to a return visit. Thankyou all at the beeches very much ! jane.

Excellent value for moneyWe stayed for 3 nights and got a great deal of 3 nights for £100 so we weren't sure what to expect but were very pleased with what we found. Our room was in the main building, just over reception. It was nice and very clean. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was included in the rate and it was lovely and great value. The gardens are beautiful. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again.

A Good WeekendWe were suprised by the overall standard of the hotel as some reviewers had knocked it a bit. The evening meal in there nearby restaurant was first rate with frendly service. The quality and service of the breakfast was also first rate with a good selection a and fantastic full english breakfast. We shall be stopping at this hotel on future visits to Norwich.

Easter staywe loved the hotel & gardens,so full of history & character,we plan on staying there again soon.Make sure you look around the walled garden and take a camera,it is stunning!We found two faults,one was the shower which was intermittently hot and cold,the other was the evening meal provided by a local café,we will use the excellent local restaurants in future.
