Close to the centre of Kendal in the lovely conservation area of Greenside. Beech House is the ideal place to relax. 6 contemporary en-suite bedrooms each individually designed with your comfort in mind. Our bedrooms are non smoking rooms. With many superb restaurants within only a 5 to 10 minutes walk from the door. Kendal also has a great selection of shops, theatre, and cinema, close to the lakes and all its outdoor attractions.

What transport is available to get around?: There are buses and trains from Kendal to Windermere; buses run throughout the whole of the Lake District. The main railway Station for getting to and from Kendal to other cities is Oxenholm Station which is a main line Station. There are buses every 20 minutes from the town centre up to Beech House, although it is only a 5 minute walk down hill to the town centre; it is around a 7 to 10 minute walk up hill. There are plenty of taxi available also.
