There was no toiletries in the room, the towels were very course, the room could have been cleaned a little better. I guess you get what you paid for.

Room was stuffy and hot. Carpets were very dirty. The hotel, while convenient, was generally old anddirty looking.

The hotel is very old and needs major remodeling. I will admit the price was great but not sure it was with the money. The blankets on the bed where old and the sheets didnt even fit the bed. The sheets where so old and streached out that the fitted one would not even stay on the bed. II asked for new ones but the same thing happened. The hotel has a indoor pool that ecohs through the entire hotel each time someone is swimming. This is very annoying if you are trying to relax. Then to make things worse they rent the hotel pool out for kids B-day party's. So for 4 hours on Saturday afteroon there where 15-20 10yrd kids screeming and jumping in and out of the pool. The radio was playing loud and no one at the hotel even cared. I asked the front desk if that was normal and if they even cared that there guest could not relax in their hotel and the the responce was its only for 4 hours. With the pool being indoors it was as if the kids where outside out door playing.

Although the staff was somewhat decent and polite, this hotel was terrible. We got in at about 1:30am and checked in and went to bed. The next morning we woke up to a dead bug in our bed and curly long black hairs. Which we do not have. When I took a shower, more black curly hair was found, so we complained. We then got moved to a "Sweet" room and thought everything was alright. Not so fast. The outlet to the fridge and tv was surged and everything got warm. So, the staff opened up the ajoining room so we could watch TV in there and keep our food. For this, they were going to give us a movie, I'm sorry but I really dont want to watch an animated cartoon film with no children and thats all they had to choose from. Oh but wait, they had to move us to another room to watch a movie, pretty lame. Thats 4 rooms in 4 nights. Oh and if you decide to stay here, make sure you pull out the shower curtain. There could be a crusty rag lodged in there like there was in our "Sweet".

Nice quiet place. Could use more upkeep but this isn't a 5 star hotel. Management is extremely nice. Breakfast isn't great but it's breakfast. Exercise room could be better too.

Luxurious. $$ parking fee. Beautiful room with excellent harbor view. Friendly and attentive staff. Great location, across the street from Fanueil Hall shops. Chart House restaurant, next door, is fantastic.

They are remodeling the hotel. The previous owner let it go. I am sure it will look good soon. The breakfast is plenty and the pool area is large. The staff was very helpful and they made your stay enjoyable.

The Bedford Plaza Hotel must have been grand in its day, but that day has passed. The hotel appears to have been sold to a family who cannot keep up with maintenance. The fixtures and lamps in the room were not fully functional. The mattresses were past their prime (way past), the pool was a dirty green color with the vacuum running the entire time, the business center only had functional internet on one of the 6 times I attempted to use it, and no printer. The glass ceiling over the pool is full of cracks and water damage and looks ready to fall. The hall carpet was stained. On the bright side, it is down the street from a Dunkin Donuts and next door to a McDonalds, and 25 minutes from downtown Boston.

Continental buffet andcomputer that sometime worked. A disappointment from experience 5 years ago: now run-down condition under new management. Having stayed at this hotel 2 times on this trip, I found the attractiveness and desirability of the room depended on what was assigned. The room for a 2 night stay was better than the room with a 1 night stay.

I was here on a business trip and I changed hotels as quick as I could. The breakfast sometimes had bagels and in three days only once had hard boiled eggs. If you like stale doughnuts and cold cereal this is the place for you. The bathroom sink in my room had parts of it leaning against the wall next to the toilet. The remote for the TV would only switch the channel down no matter what button you push. The room had a small window unit and the central air/heating vents in the floor was damaged and not been working for years. They made me spend three days there before I could change hotels as my company had prepaid. Most of the staff did not speak English, Spanish, or French. They had one small microwave for the whole hotel, it was in the lobby. I felt very uncomfortable. I asked for a ice bucket for my room from one of the cleaning persons and after five minutes try to get them to understand they went to a storage room and took one that was full of tools dumped out the tools and handed it to me dirty. No way never again.

The Bedford Plaza was a nice place to stay. It has a pool, gym, bar all under the skylight roof. I didn't use them, but seemed like others enjoyed themselves. Close to major highway I-95. Rooms are spacious and clean. Friendly staff.

The clerk was nice although he wasn't responsible for the inadequate lighting at the hotel outside. The outside of the hotel was so dark it was difficult to find the entrance, and the parking lot was also unlighted. Therefore making this an unsafe environment. This hotel was so dark outside that we rode around it several times before we found the hotel which was not light up. This was 10:00 at night. The building appeared abandoned because of the poor lighting. The parking lot had poor lighting.

When I was looking for hotels for a business trip in March, I saw the Plaza's website, which is beautiful. It paints the hotel as an oasis outside of Boston. HOWEVER, when I checked in I took note of the empty indoor pool, the overlooked empty and dirty planters, and the interior-facing rooms with peeping Tom-quality windows. Inside the room, the paint was cracked and chipped, the hair dryer overheated every morning and the staff seemed to think this was normal and acceptable. The tiny exterior window opened to a dumpster and empty parking lot, and there were hairs on the sheets on the first day. I would have checked out if I hadn't been exhausted from being in the car for nine hours. Pros: Hotel has potential to be beautiful inside. Location is close to Red line train that provides cheap and easy access to Boston. Breakfast area could be very nice if taken care of. Cons: "Business center" consisted of one computer with a blue screen warning that no one touched during my entire stay. Dirty rooms. Empty indoor pool. Other construction outside. Other comments above. Skip this place. Do yourself that favor.

This place was a disaster! Yes, you get what you pay for. 1. The place is really, really dirty and poorly maintained. The carpets in the lobby and hallway are very visibly filthy and stained everywhere. The single elevator is very small and in bad shape inside. 2. The room is just as filthy as the hotel. The carpet in the room had visible dirt and stains. Yet, the most disgusting experience was the recliner in the room. The multiple and suspicious stains were revolting to look at. I asked them to change it, they agreed, and never did. The bathroom was a little better but still had to wipe gunk from the faucets. The bath is very small, and the sink abutts the toilet so that you cannot lean back when sitting on the toilet. 3. The wireless internet was flaky and didn't work many times. 4. The work room is a joke. The cables on the universal gym were broken so it was unusable. The TV didn't get any reception at all. I used one of the treadmills briefly, at least that workeed ok. 5. Not enough parking in hotel, so if you arrive late any evening, have to park across the street. I am glad I brought my own towel, I didn't want to touch anything in that room. I cannot find words to describe how grimy and filthy the entire place was and felt, inside and outside the room. DO NOT stay here just to save a few bucks, you'll regret it!

I loved the covered parking, especially since it rained a couple of days. The beds were not really comfortable. Overall this was a really enjoyable hotel stay. The full beds were a little smaller than I like, and they were hard. But the location was good, it offered all types of services i.e. food, convenience store, gas stations, etc. I would definitely stay at this hotel again for the price!

I stayed for several days. The facility is in a small town, but convenient for touring Boston and surrounding tourist areas - very convenient to highway, etc. There is a complimentary breakfast which is adequate. Staff was friendly. This is an older place and does show age, but still clean enough and quite adequate.

The staff was friendly. They were very helpful with finding a movie theater. The hours for the gym were very short. The want to rent the rooms on either side of the workout room. This means that you can't work out before 8:00. Not a bad hotel. Reasonable for the money. The restaurant was poor the last time I stayed there. I got chicken fingers and they arrived cold and damp. Not thrilled with the staff at the bar. She was hardly friendly. The bar and bar food are a bit over-priced. So I didn't use the bar. Front office staff were friendly and helpful. The owners are a bit cheap with the upkeep of the place. Should be rated a 2 star

We stayed for one night with our 3-year old while on our way to Boston and it was great. My personal favorite was the swimming pool that felt like bathwater. I HATE really cold pools and far too often hotels that advertise "heated" pools don't actually have warm pools. Overall it was comfortable and we would definitely stay there again.
