A rainforest haven catering for a maximum of 16 couples. A private hideaway, where you can savour the finer things life has to offer. Children 12 years and under are not catered for on Bedarra Island. SS1207Rooms are free standing villas, with private balcony, separate living area, and private bathroom. Bedarra Island is located just off the Tropical Queensland coast, half way between Cairns & Townsville and neighbouring Dunk Island. Bedarra Island is part of the Family Group of Islands and covers Covering 100 Hectares. Guests can do as they wish, when they wish. A maximum of just 32 guests are accommodated in 16 secluded Villas, each hidden in the rainforest, only minutes from the beach. Rates include many Island activities and initial Arrival & Departure launch transfers from/to Dunk Island. There are no transfers to Bedarra Island on Christmas Day. The open terrace Restaurant offers simply exquisite food from the team of chefs offering a new menu every day. The restaurant overlooks the cascading swimming pool and the bar is located on the pool side. Picnic hampers are also available. Individual villas, very secluded & private. The lobby size of the hotel is small, design of the lobby is intimate.

What transport is available to get around?: Bedarra is an island resort. It is surrounded by water and you cannot drive to the island. Access is by boat or helicopter only. The closest small town is Mission Beach (four kilometres by water) and largest city nearby is Cairns (two hours drive north, then transfer to Bedarra by boat).
