Beaver Run Resort is like a little community. You would really have no reason to leave the resort the entire weekend. They have convenient ski storage lockers right next to the Beaver Run lift at Breckenridge. It's so nice to just walk out the door in the morning grab your skis and jump on the ski lift. And the walk to main street in Brekenridge can easily be done in about 10 minutes.

This ski out hotel was awesome for the price and the jetted tub felt AWESOME. The decor was a little outdated, but nothing bad. This was a great hotel for the price. I had a separate bedroom, a small kitchen, a jetted tub, ski storage, an excellent view of the lift and mountain, and a spectacular pool and hot tub!

Parking is free only if you are willing to take a shuttle to an outdoor off site lot. Onsite parking is $10 per night. Don't accept a room with a connecting door to the adjacent room unless you plan to be up all night. There is no sound insulation and poor door seals result in hearing the neighboring room conversations even at normal levels. High price, no privacy. Curiously there is a peep hole to look through the room separating door that enables a view of the bathrooms of either room from both sides! Kinky. :)

Very nice stay. The ammenities were "dated", but nice. Plenty of space. Very relaxing stay, nice beds, GREAT VIEW. Would definately stay again. Added bonus: Seeing an avalanche from our porch on saturday morning!

If you have first time family skiers that will be enrolled in the Kinder-Hut ski school, then this Hotel is a great convenience. (Use the Kinderhut discount in the Hotel's coupon book.) No driving. The school, ski-restaurant, ski-bar (2nd floor), lift-pass issue, and the ski lift to peak Eight are all co-located. Some walking from your room is required, but all indoors. Ski/boot locker room for guests provided in hotel near chair lift/ski in/ski out. Check-in: this took awhile. They first issued me a smoking room, then I had to wait while they 'found' a non-smoking. Parking: Two levels reserved for guests. Didn't seem like enough for all guests. Often, all spaces were taken. Well lit. Restricted access to public. Room: Great view. Split level layout. We had a two year old - this was a safety issue. The stairs didn't have a handrail the entire length. Full kitchen -great. Fireplace: great amenity. The hotel provided free wood to burn. Second room was open to the vaulted ceiling of the first floor. Privacy issues. Clean bathroom, clean rooms. Good hot water. Lighting in bathrooms and dinning-living space seemed dark. Romantic/cozy for couples, not good for story/activity time with children. Bedroom lighting adequate. Carpeted floor a little worn and dirty. Internet access provided, for a stiff fee. Even more so at the business center. I had an AT&T aircard that had two, sometimes three bars, out of five. Good business center -for generating Hotel revenue. The Hotel's 'business center' internet access was expensive. Fax fees about the same as Kinko's. Great non-skiing events available:sled dog trips, snowmobile trips, sleigh rides -up the mountain for a dinner, hot tubs, exercise room, and full service Spa. If you want convenience, this hotel has a great setup.

Location, amenities friendly staff. Surprised by the amenity fee when I received my bill. Great for the price. Excellent location, convenience and courteous staff. Rentals, lift tix and ski storage are all steps away.

Hotel has only one thing to offer - a great location with easy access to the slopes. Other than that, decor is out of the 60's. Way too many stairs, tiny hot tubs, dishevled layout and in dire need of a make over. Slow service in resturant, poor food quality. For a place that promotes itself as a resort - it's a pretty poor excuse. If all you are interested is ski in ski out - then wear your socks to bed and enjoy. If your looking for a resort stay - stay somewhere else

I liked the fact that there were two heated pools conveniently located on each side of the hotel.

The resort is like a city within itself. We were extremly satified with all the services we used (spa, internet, shuttle, pool, resturants).

Conveniently located next to the slopes, loved not having to drive at all. The parking garage was cramped. Get a map of the hotel or you'll get lost. Comfortable beds and nice size rooms. The facade & a few interior features were a bit outdated but I still felt spoiled staying there.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in December. I was pleasantly surprised... Resort Excellence!! What started out as "a ski vacation", turned into a romantic getaway. I never thought of skiing as luxurious, as it has always seemed like a lot of "work" in the past. Very Convenient - Perfect Location... and right next to the ski lifts. You have own locker to store your skis, boots, etc. and the ski lift is literally right outside the door - just put your skis on and head up the mountain. The resort provides free transportation to anywhere you want to go. The service was exceptional - we never had to wait for a ride. The bus/shuttle would arrive for pick up within seconds of our call. Our room was completely stalked with all the amenities... including full kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, pots/pans, cooking utensils, etc. and a bath tub you could do swan dives in! This hotel has spoiled me - I'll never ski any other way again. I highly recommend this resort!!!

Heat and elevators were not working. On the surface this hotel looks ideal. However, on this trip, the heater was not working in the room, and the elevators on our side of the building were not working. This meant having to walk all the way to the other side of the building to take an elevator, or in our case walking up 9 flights of stairs to get to our floor. Additionally, the elevators only service the floors that have rooms on them. The lower floors, which have the lobby, ski rental, ski storage, shops, & restaurants are only accessible by stairs. So, imagine after a full day of skiing having to climb 3 long flights of stairs, just so you can get to an elevator to get to your room. Finally, the furniture is beat up. One chair was so old that when you sat in it you literally sunk all the way to the floor. Accessories were broken, and the table looked like it had been part of a war. Overall, even though the location is great, the condition of hotel is questionable. I would likely not stay here again.

"Beaver Run is a terrific condo complex with a nice pool and hot tubs. It is close to the slopes, rentals, ski schools, and town. It provides free, excellent, quick transportation throughout Breckenridge. We have stayed at Beaver Run for many years and plan to continue to do so in the future. Some years ago bad snow conditions would not allow us to fly into Denver and reach the condo. We had to notify Beaver Run that it was necessary that we cancel our vacation. Although it was not expected, they refunded us the entire amount of money for our reservation."

Location. Almost all employees act like they hate their jobs. The location was great (right on slope). There were numerous fees including parking. You need to know that anything you eat at hotel is also subject to a resort fee. As numerous other people have written, this hotel is in major need of up-date everything appears old and in need of replacement, including most of the employees we came in contact with. You really get a feeling that they are doing you a favor for the littlest request and we travel a lot and do not expect people to to cater to us , just simply be nice!

It was close to the slopes. Spiders in the room, housekeeping didn't clean the coffee pot, awful customer service, long wait for shuttle. It is located at one of the world famous sky hills. Parking is extra; we had spiders in our room. Our coffee pot still had the coffee in it from the day before and our cups were not cleaned, trash was still around the garbage cans after house keeping visited and our beds were sloppy put together. The buttons for housekeeping and front desk on my phone did not work so I had to call the operator for assistance. The location is ok, would prefer to see the convention center swap sides with the rooms as the convention center is right next to the slopes, and you have to walk a little ways to get to the room. The shuttle service sounded nice. It was going to pick me up by my room however I got lost trying to find where it would pick me up so I walked all the way up to the front desk to tell them I had gotten lost, their answer was to whip out the map and show me how to get back to where the shuttle would be, I asked if they could just have it pick me up at the front (it's a good 10-15min walk back) and they said "yeah if you want to wait". which I found insulting, I think they should have said not to worry and they would have the shuttle pick me up in the front. All in all I would not stay here again.

"We drove up to Breckenridge in a blizzard. It was snowpack and quarter mile visibility the whole way up from Denver. The hotel staff was young and seasonal. They were kind enough to let us check in early. Our ""Studio Suite"" was very nice with a kitchen-ette and a jetted tub. The only beef with the room was the bed being fairly uncomfortable and the hideaway in the couch even less comfortable. The room was in building 4 and was truly ski in / ski out. I would stay there again."
