I visit Pinetop often for skiing in the sinter and biking and hiking in the summer. I tried a lot of the hotels in the area and found that Bear Mountain Inn and Suites is very reasonable for the cost and the location. It doesn't say that it is a resort hotel or 5 star but what it does have is large king beds and good rooms. If you are looking for a place to sleep with friends and family then this is the best place for the price in Pinetop. I have stayed there about a dozen times already and will keep going back for the rooms and the convenience.

Great location, easy access to many stores and sights. The Hotel is very attractive to the eyes.It fits in really well with the area. Great staff, very kind and attentive to our needs. Excellent variety of food for the complimentary breakfast. Would stay here anytime!

This place was not clean. We moved one of the end tables to find something, the dirt under there was bad. Just not not not clean hotel. You asked about security??? Anyone could come and go as they wanted from the back doors. The front desk was ok, but you could tell he would not go out of his way to help you. The traffic coming in and out of this hotel is bad too, not their fault, but the main drag can be terrible to enter and reenter. I wanted to check out, but we didn't know if any other places in town would be worse??? I just stayed there to see one of the towns where George Strait has a house.

The hotel was close to our destination in WhiteRiver, AZ. I was surprised how nice the rooms were and large. The breakfast was good. The only downfall was there wasn't a pool. I thought there was, but it was a jacuzzi. We did enjoy it during our stay.

Very impressive, friendly and helpful staff at the service desk. They gave a helping hand with a smile. The room had firewood and plenty of space. The only thing preventing me from giving them a 5 was my wife slipped and fell on the sidewalk and hurt her knee. This hurt her third day of our skiing trip.If it wasn't for this mishap it's a great place. They have a good selection of things to choose from for breakfast, and a spa, relax. They have a refrigerator in the room, so nice for drinks you want to have with you. In all a great place to stay and I would go again.

Just a great place for the price. Extremly clean. Bed spreads clean, carpet clean as well as rest of room, spa(jacuzzi) well maintained. The staff was very friendly and accomadating. Very relaxed. The only bad thing I would mention is on the website the impression is given that you could sit in an area at ramada type tables and cook out or relax. This is not the case. There is a sitting area outside provided for smokers or just sitting at tables to relax and read. It is located between two of the buildings.

The motel is very old and ran down, the room was okay, but dirty. Bathroom was old and nasty. Remote control did not work for tv. The breakfast was from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM on a Sunday. Little early for me."

The room size was great to too cramped but there wasn't much to it but the Beds we so Soft and huge it made for a great night sleep, the AC units are digital and have and Auto adjust which was hard to adjust at first then we figured it out. Breakfast was good, nice little lounge out front, in the heart of Lakeside.

room size was adequate, though conterspace was tight for 3 people. Check in was efficient however, staff didnot give any info re: continental breakfast, pool, spa -didn;t realize they were available til check out! Ice machine not available. There were no security doors to outside and a couple of the steps from second floor to parking lot were cracked & broken. Location to ski area was decent.

I was pleasantly suprised how nice the hotel staff and room were. Especially for the price. I travel alot and have stayed at many hotels and for the price I half to say thumbs up for Bear Mountain!

I was very excited to find out that our room at the Bear Mountain Inn and Suites came with its own fireplace. It gave the room a cozy feel.

The rooms were large and roomy. Bathroom was good, with vanity separate. The location was good also.

I was not impressed with their continental breakfast. The pool was not open, but they did have a spa that was open.
