We did not really like the hotel. We were on the ground floor in the handicap room. It was loud and noisy since we were adjacent to the lobby and the outside restaurant. The bathroom was not clean - there was trash in the trashcan and the tub was dirty. Neither the sink or tub drained so we showered in standing water. We mistakenly thought that the hotel was on the gulf but it was across the street. But that was Ok - we dealt. For the savings of $10, it wasn't worth it. I would have rather paid the higher rate and had a better room. For the condition of this room we should have gotten a deeper discount. I know we booked a week before we wanted to travel and took a chance on there not being anything available. I would have hated to have paid full price for this room. We won't be back. Not sure if we will use Orbitz again if all you guys get are the bad rooms for tiny discounts....

I expected it to be on the beach (not across the street) or at least to have an ocean view from the room window (for $200.00 a night). Breakfast buffet was just "pure essentials". It was still a very convenient location for a 1-2 nights stay.

the staff was very friendly. The hotel looks like a great selection. Great curb appeal across the street from the beach close to everything. Inside every amenity is second hand scratch and dent furniture and bathroom fixtures were rigged to work. Ten hole patches in shower surround. Checked out as soon as we woke up and found a new hotel. Far to expensive for a dump.

i was expecting to be on the beach and my room overlooking the water. when we got there it is across the street from beach.there was beer bottles and trash every where. it was so bad i was trying to get somewhere else.

The hotel was at a great location. Close to everything. Within walking distance to a few eating places.Great price! Beach was just steps away. Bahama Bobs was across the street has excellent food!!! The room was large with king bed, great view. The bathroom could of been cleaner. Staff was really friendly. Continental breakfast was just Little Debbies, coffee and juice, would of liked better selection, healthier!!!

The Beachside Resort Hotel' room when we recieved the keys was not even cleaned. The tv was still playing and the romm filthy. The lady at the desk apoligized and blamed it on the forien help saying they had left. She assigned a new room which was made up and to our amazement or help was still there cleaning rooms!

The Beachside Resort Hotel in GULF SHORES, AL was very comfortable and clean. The room seemed much larger than most with a desk area and a table and two chairs. I liked the fact that the bathroom was separate from the vanity area and there was a sink with a long counter and there was adequate space for hanging clothes and they provided two suitcase stands. The location was very good -- a short walk to the beach and just across the street from the Bahama Bob's - an excellent beachside seafood restaurant whose food is top notch and very reasonable. I would definitely stay there again.

The Beachside Resort attempted to be a nicer motel. It was a very clean establishment. It has recently undergone a renovation but on the inside it still has a long way to go. The sink faucet handles kept coming undone and the bathtub would not drain. The staff was very helpful and accommodating and the pool was clean. I hope that they have plans to revamp the breakfast because there was nothing hot available. A good place if you're on a tight budget but not if you prefer things a little nicer.

The Beachside Resort Hotel was very comfortable. It is just across the street from the beach. There was good coffee in the check in area early in the mornings. There is no dining area in the hotel. There is a cafe across the street. Overall a nice place to stay.

We checked out after the first night. This was a horrible place to stay. The rooms were filthy, the bathroom was nothing more that a stall, and the entire hotel was dingy and stank

We found our room ready and very comfortable, the air was on and every thing was clean. The bathroom was clean. The carpets were clean. We only had a short walk to the beach and was very close to the suvenior shops and eating places. We would stay here again and recommend it to others for the value.
