We were disapointed with this hotel. The location was great, however the room was in need of much needed maintenance. Bath faucets leaked, handles were falling off, ceiling paint was pealing, carpet was warn. Would not stay again

N/A. Hotel Management and Staff extremely rude. Did not follow up on complaints. It took over 90 minutes to check in. Hotel management refused to accept corporate credit card to expedite check-in. The manager on duty was extremely rude. The General manager finally processed our check-in, but failed to follow up on his rude manager. The hotel is located about six miles from the board walk. Don't stay at a hotel that does not care about their guests.

I stayed in this hotel with my husband and kids on their first trip to the beach. We stay in a lot of cheap hotels traveling with soccer, but this was the worst. There are several reasons why I would not stay at this hotel again. (1) There is absolutely no security. The door keys are not computerized. The back door to the hotel was not only unlocked - it was shattered and taped together with duck tape. The side entrance was unlocked day and night. There is no attendant at the main entrance - all check-ins and hotel business are conducted at the hotel next door. So you are pretty much on your own as far as security goes. (2) While the pool is in a great location - overlooking the beach, one underwater pool light was laying on the side of the pool with the electric cord still attached below the water level! We were afraid to get in the pool for fear of getting electrocuted. There were young children swimming unattended in the pool at the time. (3) Finally, the hotel is very old. The door to the room would not shut properly unless shoved. It was equally difficult to get open. The same goes for the sliding door. (4) There is no wireless Internet in the lobby - maybe it is at the hotel next door? There were lots of good things about the hotel if you don't mind the above. The room was good sized. The room had a full kitchen (full sized fridge, stove, and sink along with cooking utensils, plates and flatware). There is a coffee maker, but good luck trying to find a plug for it. It was fairly clean. Fantastic location.

This is a vary well maintained older hotel. I was disappointed by the $5.00 a day parking fee for our car. Over all it is a decent hotel. I liked the location (not alot of traffic).

We stayed at the beachside hotel. All the rooms are oceanfront. our room was very spacious. we were not constantly bumping into each other. The beds were perfect, the room was very clean, we had a kitchenette so we got some food at the local store and cooked in as it was more economical than going to dinner every night. The hotel is right on the beach, with 2 pools and a jacuzzi. they had free continental breakfast and a work out room, our teen son used this room alot when we were not beaching it. The staff was very friendly and we would most definetly stay and reccomend it to our friends and family.
