The Kihei Beach Condominium is conveniently located in the island's sunniest town, Kihei) in South Maui, just 20 minutes from both the Kahului Airport, and the old whaling town of Lahaina. The beach is ideal for swimming, with the soft sand stretching uninterrupted for more than six miles. It is the ultimate for beachcombing, walking, jogging, and for watching the Kihei Canoe Club practice. There are coin operated laundry rooms on the third and fifth floors behind the elevator. The amenities also include parking, outdoor gas grill, barbeques, complimentary coffee in the lobby, and fax service. Paperback books are available on loan from the lobby bookcase. Each of the spacious one- and two-bedroom condos are ocean front, with a private lanai (patio) to enjoy those magical Maui sunsets and, during the winter months, the cavorting of humpback whales. The kitchens are fully equipped with all the items necessary to prepare that special sunset dinner. The appliances include an electric range with self-cleaning oven, microwave, large refrigerator-freezer, garbage disposal and dishwasher. Accommodations are designed to provide all the essentials with maid service available, air-conditioning and Cable TV included. In the living area, the sofa converts to a queen-size sofa sleeper.

Everything connected to the Resort was exceptionally fine. The person at the front desk was very welcoming, friendly and provided whatever assistance was needed. The condo complex was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The owners of the condo had practically anything and everything that was needed in the kitchen and in the bathroom. The management did a fantastic job of having the condo ready for occupancy when we arrived. It was exceptionally clean. We were able to extend our day on the day of departure since our flight was later in the day. Fortunately, there were no visitors arriving on our day of departure and so we were able (for a small amount of money) to extend our stay for the convenience of having more beach time, quiet time before we had to head out to the airport. The view from the lanai was super. The weather was great. The decor of the condo was most pleasant. The availability of an internet connection was much appreciated. Overall I can not say enough of how pleased I am with this vacation experience. I am sorry that I had to return to the mainland. Aloha and Mahalo!

This is a very nice room. The lady in the front desk was friendly and helpful. She helped me google the address of a couple of places to be able to get the directions on the JPS I rented at the car rental. The room was comfortable and clean. There is no room service while one is checked in. I had to wash my own dishes and towels. I didn't mind because other things made up for this like having a mirror infront of the sink to be able to see the ocean while I washed dishes, having the sun shine straight in the room, and being able to hear the waves. The best thing was that I only had to walk 12 ft to get to the ocean, but to be honest it is not the most beautiful part of the beach in Kihei. You have to drive like a mile on S Kihei Rd. to be able to swim in the beach. I enjoyed the beautiful view and sound of the ocean from the patio. The sun set was also a beautiful one.

I went to hawaii for my friends' wedding and the time table was moved up. But despite the fact the travel plans were made last minute this was a great place place to stay. The room was main floor and about 20' to the ocean. This place wasn't intended to keep you on the property though, so if your traveling with kids they will get bored easily. This is a place for couples and people who don't want to be stuck on property and never see the suroundings. One of the little things i appreciated was the lock box on the door to the condo, this ment never losing the key on the beach or in the water, it just made things a little simple. I can't wait to go back and stay here again, hopefully the same room.

One major component of a vacation is to be able to sleep well. The bed was squeaky. We complained to Maui Condos after the first night. No action was taken. Avoid #324.
