It was a nightmare!! the whole hotel is smelly, the reception, elevator, corridors and rooms. Although, i had confirmation for a king-size bed room, non was available. The staff attitude lacks professionalism. They need a serious improvement of cleanliness and services quality.

A nice and clean hotel with a very service-minded staff, but location is bad if you would like to go to the beach and relax. Nice buffet-breakfast and New Years Eve-dinner!

The rooms were spacious, toilets were spacious & clean and the view was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is good for shopping and eating-out. Would recommend this hotel to 1st timers to Langkawi.

A good hotel well located to the jetty if you are going to do any tours by boat. Some good restaurants around if you hunt a bit. Local shopping is OK. A 15 min taxi ride to the beach or tourist central but the hotel has a great view & service is good.

Stayed here for two nights on a trip to Langkawi (excellent place). Service was very good, may have been due to the visiting Sultan of Kedah. Hotel is clean if somewhat "old" feeling. Used the pool which was nice and the internet facilities (did not have to pay?). Double room was large and comfortable. Location wise it is a close to a small shopping district that will meet most needs, I wouldn't consider Langkawi a shoppers paradise. Taxi service with voucher system is available outside of hotel to avoid shocks. Is a good 20mins away from western beaches of Langkawi but a pleasant trip. Found breakfast to be fairly ordinary on both days.

The reciptionests are nice. Breakfast is not convenient for the non south Asian pepole. The Gim area is very small and with limitted facilities.

My stays in the hotel overall is satisfying. The room is well kept. The food not bad either but the hotel receptionists need to be more friendly.

Be prepared mostly for local Malaysian food in the hotel. This is a great place if you wish to shop around Kuah town.

Pricing is very reasonable, will definitely stay again at Bayview Hotel Langkawi.

Overall, it was good. We stayed for 4 days and breakfast was almost same everyday and a little boring. Tried to use sauna and steam bath but took long ( 20min. or so) to get them started. It was not hot enough and disappointing. Good things are that room was clean and spacious. ( we stayed in executive sea view)

The service is poor because the staff there are not able to uinderstand and speak English on a very basic level. Also they are very mechanical when doing their job. When I asked for a third set of glass, coffee cup and toiletries + towels, they brought one thing and left out the other thing. Then they will tell you to call No. 5 (housekeeping) to order for it again. They do not take the initiative to get it for you. Finally after 4 tries, I finally got everything. Other than this small incident, everything works fine.

Great value for money. Friendly and very accommodating staff throughout. Good sized rooms. Excellent location if you want to shop in Kuah town rather than lounge on the beach

Great 3 star hotel. Very convenient if you need to go on boat tours/excursions from Kuah town. Beautifull white cotton bedding. Only dwnside is that walls are bit too thin and you cn hear next door neighbours. All in all had a greattime and we would do it again.
