I am glad I found this hotel online. I stayed for about a week. The hotel room was always clean and neat every day, and the continental breakfast was good. The hotel was just a few minutes from I-40. But what I liked most was the low price.

The breakfast was kept warm and rotated constantly.

I looked and looked for a good hotel for under $* a night, and was so pleased to find this gem. I wasn't sure what to expect, given the wide range of reviews that I'd read on the web for hotels in general (I mean, how can one know for sure since some people are more finnicky than others?). And I tend to be finnicky...anyway, I took a chance booking this on the web and was just so pleased to find that the hotel is brand new (6 months old), so it is clean and up-to-date (flat screen TVs in every room, internet access, fitness room, pool, etc.). The staff were friendly and helpful. Even though it is right on the freeway (40), you cannot hear the traffic (and both me and my husband are light sleepers...really). So, I believe the insulation is good. The restaurant there served a pretty good dinner (although I would suggest going into town for food). Breakfast at the hotel was just OK; we didn't think the wait staff had their act quite together (it was sort of like Laurel and Hardy, so we kind of laughed about it). If you want a good breakfast, eat at the "'ello cafe and tea house" on Harwood; great fresh food, locally baked bread, and a pretty good selection of teas (if you're a tea snob). The location is approx. 3 miles from the Biltmore Estate, on the outskirts of town (which is on the other side of the tunnel...hence the name Tunnel Road). One could stay closer to the estate or even in town, and I don't believe it would be worth the cost since you have to drive into the estate anyway. This hotel is an inexpensive (relatively speaking), excellent choice. Definitely stay there again.

Was in town for the Bele Chere Festival. Great Location. Right off of the Interstate. Easy and close to get to the downtown area. Also great location for the Biltmore House. Hotel staff was great. Room was nice and clean. Would definetly stay again!!!!

The hotel was only minutes from the Biltmore and downtown Asheville. We really enjoyed the convenience of the location. The breakfast was great too!

Comfortable room. Not enough seating in the eating area for breakfast. Enjoyed the stay. Nice size room with comfortable bed. Staff was very polite.

Fine location to Biltmore and clean hotel. Would have like to have been away from the Elevator & Vending area.

Without a doubt, the worse bed I have ever slept on.. Management was rude when I asked about changing rooms. They said "since I booked through Travel website, that I would have to take any problems to them." If you see a Baymont, run the other way!

Very convenient location for Biltmore Village and Biltmore Estates.

We recommend this hotel highly. It was in a great location and had a very pleasant stay.

despite good staff and good food, I was put off by pool and spa with steep steps, useless oversize handrail. also, tub area in room was tiny and no lite in tub, tough to shower in there. dressing area outside was adequate, however. our whirlpool room was equipped with separate room for big tub which also contained 2nd tv, which was a nice surprise.

Very close to the Biltmore Estate we toured. Breakfast room was small for large crowd they had. Food was o.k. Pool was nice for our 4 kids after long drive.

It did not explode into a ball of flames while I was sleeping. NA. Adequate.

After arriving in Asheville with no reservations, we went to three other hotels in the area and found the location and price of the Baymount to be the best. We had a suite with a ceiling fan and whirlpool tub area that had a 2nd TV! Easy to get to local businesses and the Biltmore

Very close to Biltmore and shopping/restaurants

Close to Biltmore estate. Shabby appearance of rooms. This was very close to Biltmore Estate, Biltmore Village, and nice restaurants. Rooms were not nicely decorated or furnished, furniture was broken, wall paper peeling off of walls, etc.

The Baymont Inn was pretty much as advertised. The location was great, and the room was clean. The staff was helpful and very professional. The continental breakfast was good, and there was enough food for the crowd that was there. My only complaint, and its a small one, was the number of tables in the breakfast room. There weren't enough of them. In defense of the hotel, the room was full. On most days the area assigned to breakfast is probably adequate, but on the date of our visit everyone showed up for breakfast at the same time.

Mattress was very comfortable. Room clean and tidy. Room a little drab, could have been more colorful. The Baymont Inn, Asheville, was a nice, moderately priced hotel in a great location, just a few blocks from Biltmore Estates. Our room was nice and clean, with a comfortable bed. The free continental breakfast included eggs, sausage, breads, cereals and even a waffle maker - a nice spread. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are going to visit Biltmore Estates. Great for business traveler or tourist. If you are looking for warm and romantic, a B&B is a better choice.

Baymont Inn and Suites Asheville/Biltmore, Asheville, North Carolina made our stay in Ashville an exceptional visit as we toured the Builtmore Estates. My wife recommend the facility for anyone who would like to stay in Ashvile.

The hotel was clean and the breakfast was above average. Breakfast seating area was not quite large enough. This was the first small trip my wife and I took with our 10 month old daughter. We were going to Biltmore Estate, and convenience was a big factor traveling with an infant. The Baymont was not even a mile from the entrance. The staff was really nice and attentive. Our room was clean, the breakfast was good, but the seating was limited. The bed was even comfortable. They also have a nice indoor pool and whirlpool. If my wife and I were alone, we could have easily walked to Biltmore Village from the hotel where there are several shops and restaurants. When we go back to Asheville, we will definitely consider staying at the Baymont again.
