Nice for a short stay. Facility could stand some upkeep. The price (packaged with my Orbitz flight) was terrific!

Old, wrinkled carpet. Buildings surrounding hotel are vacant or demolished, making parking lot sketchy.

Styed in July 2008. Telephone would not work. When told I needed the phone, that my mother was dying and I may not have made it here on time, they said they would work on it, but I had to come back down to the desk and give them my credit card again. I was told because I booked through a online travel agency, the phone was not turned on. I went down and gave them the card number, then waited and tried the phone periodically. After calling the desk and checking on how much longer turning the phone on would take for about 20 minutes, I left to go to the hospital to see if I could locate my family not knowing if my Mom was still there or if she had passed away and was no longer there. When I passed by the desk, the lady was checking in more guests. Obviously, that was more important than any emergency the other guests had. I stayed there 5 nights, and the phone never was turned on. (Although they did charge me an additional fee for the phone.

Terrible neighborhood. There was a sign posted at desk about car break-ins. I parked in the back where there was more lighting only to find the backdoor unlocked. It was taped with duct tape, I guess it was broken. Trash all over in hallways and trashcans over flowing everywhere. Staff was really nice but hotel was dirty and very rundown.

It was perfectly adequate, and the price was good through Orbitz. The building is quite old, but I had no problem with that; it was quiet and the room was clean. The only problem I had was that it's a bit hard to find the place because you can't see a sign from the street you turn off to it. Also, trying to navigate around that area is hard because the street planning there makes it confusing. But that's not the hotel's fault; and eventually I got where I wanted to go, and it's easy getting to the airport from there. It was perfectly adequate for me.

Lobby wasclean. The electricity was blown out that evening and I was sitting in the dark all night A good hotel would make sure that their guests are taken care of due to the unfortunate event of the power being blown out in the 3 entire hotel. There was absolutely no regard for my inconvenience

I have stayed at this hotel quite a few times over the years, but will not do so again. Carpeting is coming off the floor, room was very musty, the whole place has just gotten very run down with no sign of remodeling in sight. And the neighborhood isn't looking too great either.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past year or so and I have always found it to be very clean and comfortable ..The Tv is the room offers pay-per-view movies and games... Plus there is the creation station just off to the side of it and several restaraunts within walking distance ... Add all that to the fact that the price is affordable and you have one GREAT place to stay!!!!

the staff this time at this hotel was friendlier than last time we stayed here. Able to have more towels and was able to get a roll a way bed. Took a long time to check in they mis-placed our second room paper. The location is a bit run down but still close to resteraunts and gas stations, and The great splash water park.

Our hotel room had an ice bucket full of water (melted ice), the temperature. Gauge around the shower handle was not secured to the wall, we made multiple calls about it over 3 nights before it was fixed, the power went out due to a storm in part of the hotel (our part) and we were not offered to be moved to another room. I have sleep and have a machine I must use to breath at night and without power I did not get a wink of sleep.

Stayed here while in town for the Pontiac convention. Staff went out of their way to give me and others from the club the best attention. Nice room, couldn't have asked for more for the money!

Good value for price, front office staff was helpful, no problem with noise or disturbance. It was a $39 taxi ride from airport, but that might have been just the taxi overcharge (same trip cost me $23 last year). Breakfast was ready by 6AM and met the need--appreciated the fresh fruit.

The evening front desk staff is outstanding. Clean, quiet, great staff; nice treats at night; free laundry soap and dryer sheets, perfect place to stay. 24/7 Coffee and tea, great touches.

Honestly, the worst experience ever. When we got to the hotel, we discovered that all of the area attractions ie. Celebration Station had been bulldozed to the ground. The hotel stood by itself completely surrounded by chain link surrounded empty lots. At the desk they had our booking wrong. We had booked two adjoining rooms and they only had one room reserved for us. When they tracked down another room it was on the other side of the hotel and on a different floor. Told the desk that was unacceptable and they eventually found two rooms that were across the hall and a little way down from each other. When we got to our room we found it to be filthy and when we pulled the sheets back, the old bloodstains on the coverlet were quite a surprise. We called down and requested a different room or immediate housekeeping. The woman at the desk told us to strip the sheets and someone would be along shortly. We left for dinner and 3 hours later, our sheets are still in a pile on the floor out in the hallway. I resigned myself to sleeping three on the other bed and called Orbitz to cancel our second night. Told the gentleman on the phone what the problems were and he called the hotel management. He called me back a few minutes later and told me that the person he spoke to was very rude and she told him that we had 30 minutes to check out or we would be charged for the full stay and unable to cancel. We checked out and went two exits further down the road and stayed at one of the nicest La Quinta's I have ever stayed at for a well spent $12 more per night. I had stayed at Baymont's in the past and considered them to be one of the better budget hotels, but never again. Beware.

This was our first stay at this property, but friends have stayed there several times in the past. Some of the furnishings were showing signs of wear, which may be attributable to a reputed change in ownership in the past year. The rooms were clean and staff was friendly. It is hard to find the property, but once you figure out how to get to it, it is really a convenient spot. The breakfast could stand some improvement, though, as there was not much variety. Save your confirmation because there was some confusion at registration concerning the room rates.

Location. No refrigerator as advertised. The hotel staff was very poor. We asked for the refrigerator to be fixed in our room because it was broken and instead they just removed it from the room and never replaced it. We were staying there because it had a fridge and microwave. We spent extra money on food because of this.

I am used to much more accomodating hotel. Although the staff was friendly, that was the highlight of my stay.
