We went for some relaxation, and were more worried about the condition of the room. Also the delux breakfast was anything but delux. Maybe we are just used to more. We know they are renovating, but roach motels in the rooms? Anyway we were not that pleased with our stay. The bed was so soft that both mornings when we woke up were hurting so bad we didn't want to move.

It 's an old hotel you just acquired, with some renovation it could be OK.

I would not recommend that any one stay at this hotel. I understand that it is in the process of supposedly being remodeled however they might better have closed it during the process. The rooms were had some holes in the walls which had been patched however not repainted, upon walking in the room the beds had not been made and bathroom was filthy. We chose to cancel the room and were forced to pay a portion of the amount and in order to do so. I didn't care at this point. You could not pay me to stay there. Be aware of the fact that we have stayed at numerous Baymont Hotels in many different cities and all were newer with good amenities. If you are going to be in the Charlotte area continue on down the road. There are many nice hotels that chose from.

The Baymont Inn and Suites was very quiet and clean. The room was spacious, had a small table and chairs and the bed was comfortable. The staff were all pleasent and accomodating. Upon check-in I received direction to all of the area resturants and shopping, and they had a very nice complimentary breakfast in the morning.

Good location, next to interstate. Not maintained very well, knew of problems and didn't fix. Maintenance was not a big priority here. They knew of problems with using the card key for getting in the rooms. Just haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. We had Dried vomit on our shower Curtin. Hot tub was out of order for an unacceptable amount of time. Would not stay there again.

The hotel needs maintenance. It could have been cleaner and should have two people on staff at night --ie., I had to track down a luggage cart outside a room where the last person to use it, had left it. For the price, I would recommend it to a friend as an overnight stop. I would not recommend it for a stay of more than overnight.

Convenient to where we needed to travel and nice enough for the price. Main older lady. As long as you dont need to talk to the receptionist or expect anything really nice then its ok.

I've always stayed at Baymont Inn's and have been very happy but not with this one. My family and I arrived around midnight and we were extremely tired so we didn't notice much before turning in. The next morning there was a smell in the room that was terrible and the bathroom was very rundown and old. I would never stay at this hotel again!

We used the Baymont as a one night stop over between Orlando, Florida and Cleveland, Ohio. The location was very convenient, right off I-77. The neighborhood was safe. My concerns arose upon arrival. The check in was easy and the staff was friendly. We requested a non-smoking room and when we got to our floor all the room doors did indeed have the non-smoking symbol on them. The hallway, however, smelled like an old ashtray. When we went into the room, the room seemed clean, the beds were made, but the bathroom had an open bottle of shampoo spilling out down the side of the tub and there was hair in the drain. There was also hair on the floor. That was extrememly disgusting. Also, we checked in stating and paying for four people but we only received three towels. Having a pool on site, three towels would not be enough for two people, let alone four. We did not use the pool, because I figured if they did not even clean the bathrooms in the rooms, the cleaning and maintenance on the pool was more than likely sub-par.

Nothing. The staff, the smell, the broken workout equipment. This hotel was very disappointing. A waste of money at any price.

The best feature of this facility is its location, across the highway from a huge shopping area with a variety of restaurants. Chain guard on door broken. Hair dryer did not work. Bathroom door sticks. Bathroom tiny. Toilet paper holder broken. Waffle cooker at breakfast broken.

Very friendly staff. The bathroom was in bad need of updating, and a bit more cleaning (dirty spots on back of door). Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was convenient to the interstate. But generally, the hotel's decor was in need of updating (very 80's looking). The beds weren't very comfortable, no fridge or microwave and only basic cable was offered on the TV. Overall, I've stayed in much nicer hotels for same price.

"I was very plaesed with Baymont Inn. The rooms were clean. The pool was clean, but could use little improvements. The breakfast was good, but needed to offer more options."

Convenient location. No maintenance person on site. Staff not helpful at all. Breakfast lady very nasty to children and adults. Maids didn't clean rooms well. I wouldn't stay more than a brief overnight stay again. It's fine if you are traveling late and need a cheap, overnight stay. I would not recommend more than one night at this facility. When the washer machine broke and the hot tub heater didn't work, there was no maintenance person to fix the problems. Asking the front desk staff for assistance is a waste of time and energy, because they can't help and don't know anything. We had to call for clean towels every day of our three day stay. The breakfast lady is mean to children and needs to be advised that leaving marks on children's shoulders when moving them may constitute child abuse. If I had been the child's mother that this lady grabbed by the shoulders, I would have called CPS. The child had deep red marks where the lady had dug her fingers hard into his shoulder. This is my second stay at this hotel. The first was a late night stop over and I didn't really pay attention to the facility, but this same nasty breakfast lady was mean to the children. Watch your children closely around this woman.

Nothing. this was the worst experience I have had at a hotel. When we went to check in I was told we were booked into the maintenance room and we would have to wait about an hour for a room. This was the most unfriendly place I have ever been in. First we booked for Friday and Saturday night but due to circumstances we were unable to actually stay on Friday night. We tried to cancel but were told we would have to pay 25.00 plus the room total. This was only about thirty minutes after we had booked in the first place. So I paid for Friday night anyway even though we were unable to stay there. When we arrived on Sat morning At 8:00 we were told that they were booked up and had no rooms. After I explained that I had booked for the previous night also and that they better have a room for us, I was informed that we were actually booked in the maintenance room. We had to wait and hour before a room was ready for us. the Staff was very unfriendly and almost rude during our whole stay. As a matter of fact everyone that we met in this whole town of Statesville were rude. I will never stay in a Comfort Inn if I can help it. And I will certainly not ever stay in Statesville if I can help it either. Sorry but you asked. Deborah S Hagy

"When we arrived the door was open and it was freezing. The bathroom smelled like pee. We were afraid to take a shower, it was so filthy. Our refrige did not work either."

It had a great shower. It was old and didn't feel completely safe. The hotel was serviceable for the stop I was making on my trip. I wouldn't want to have an extended stay there, though.
