The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The desk personnel were very helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast offered everything from cold cereal to hot homemade waffles.

Location. Rooms. Very drab rooms, curtain rod coming off wall. Bed mattress uncomfortable, pool small cloudy. Jacuzzi was cold.
Date of Stay:
February, 2009
Overall the room was clean, the front desk was very kind and helpful; however, the pool area is getting older, it is a very small pool, and there were some missed details in cleanliness of pool area (bugs at edges, algae vs. mold growth by windows, and most tables got wet easily from kids jumping in). The pool water was cloudy--not crystal clear. Also, it is important to me to be able to see my kids at all times when they are in the pool, and there was a large support/beam that limited visability. (I moved a chair to be able to see adequately, but got a bit wet) There seemed to be a musty smell throughout the building....Our room was clean except it could use an update/paint in the bathroom(dusty/less clean above the tub surround----not an issue if you are not tall enough to notice). Excellent value for the price for a room, but I wouldn't recommend it for kids to swim. Breakfast was nice though not very many tables.

They took us on short notice with a discount rate and even added on our AAA discount. But since our room wasn't available, they upgraded us to a suite at no additional charge. The front desk and the maids were friendly. The breakfast bar was very good and kept well stocked even before anything was missing! The ""you-make"" waffles and biscuits and gravy were very welcomed as was the attendant. Very good! We would definitely stay here again. We are originally from the area and travel all over the U.S., so this is a really BIG compliment!

Good room rate. Hotel was clean. Very dated interior, felt like I was in the 1980's. The indoor pool was nice with a big hot tub as well. Overall, it was a decent hotel for the price.

Great continental breakfast. The pool area was not to my expectations! The pool itself was cloudy and I wasn't sure I wanted my kids in it. I chose not to swim because of the condition of the water. The hot tub water was much clearer than the pool, however it was only lukewarm! The bed in the room was hard and the covers felt like a brick on top of me! Not cozy!

Nice hotel with a great breakfast area and food with 24 hour coffee. Only complaint is that they did not do a good job of having the snow and ice cleared from the parking lot.

The right choice for us. Rooms clean, beds comfortable, breakfast excellant We did not get in the pool and the hot tub did not look too clean. The fitness room was great and all the front desk people and housekeeping were great. The price was the best for the area. We would stay here again.

We were in the area for a concert and did not want the long drive back to the Chicago area late at night. The price was the biggest attraction. The hotel was extremely clean and quiet.

Great desk staff. Very helpful & friendly. This hotel was nice & quiet. Breakfast was very satisfactory with hot waffles, cereal, toast, eggs & sausage, juices, milk, muffins, etc. Food was kept full. It was a good value for the money. Pool was good but would be small if the hotel was real busy. Kids were happy. Hot tub a little too hot but still used it. Will likely consider the next time we're in the area.

Breakfast was excellent. Cookies in evening were a real treat. Staff was helpful. Close to places we needed to go. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. It was quiet even though located close to tollway.

Rooms were clean, but beds need updating had lumps and bumps. Hallways and elevators even in Spring were hot. We were short on towels and staff just said come down and we will give you some, went down and there was a man complaining about his room, apparently they had messed up on his reservation, the clerk did not handle it very effectively and he was upset, she just pointed to our towels and never said a word. Usually I love Baymonts, but I would not recommend this one for the price and other close by hotels that were less expensive.

Inexpensive and fairly clean. It is a little away from most things to do, but is very close to craker barrel.

Great staff! Excellent breakfast bar. Pool was freezing. Hot tub jets didn't work. The rooms are somewhat "used" looking. The pool and hot tub problems were drawbacks since we have 4 kids and they all were excited to swim.

I must compliment the front desk clerk to start with. When we checked in, she was swamped, and she never broke her smile and never felt the pressure...:) The hotel is a typical Baymont suites...great breakfast, although since I was undergoing surgery the next morning I couldn't partake of it by my companions loved it. The rooms are clean, the service is fantastic. The pool is warm. What else can you say? It's not $$$ a night because the Taj Mahal it's not. But it's more than comfortable and I don't believe anyone can complain about the hotel!

Our room was on the fourth floor, and it was so dirty! There was brown liquid on the toilet seat, the room smelled really bad, and the curtains were stained. The walls were also dirty. I would not recommend this hotel.

The rates were decent. Plumbing issues, not child friendly as far as staff. Our stay started pleasantly enough until the toilet overflowed. We were moved to another room and that was satisfactory. The next day, my friend and I took our 11 children (all ours) to the pool. No one else was there. We were harassed by a staff member about our use of the pool (noise, jumping in, etc.) We were only there for 2 hours. On Sunday morning our toilet stopped up. I told the desk about it and they promptly handed me a plunger! Not professional at all! So I paid for a room and had to be my own plumber.

We were staying at Chula Vista Resort in Wis. Dells-left early because of poor service. Came here and couldn't be happier. It was a great room and for our anniversary we will come here not the other resort!

Stayed here for one night in Ocotber 2008. Hotel was clean and well run. Grat price for a place with an indoor pool. Room with one kind bed was very large.
