Clean rooms, quiet atmosphere. Room smelled. Overall, the hotel was pretty decent. Room was clean and roomy. However, my room developed a funky smell two days into my stay whenever I had to turn on the air unit (heator air). I requested 3 times to the front desk to have maintenance look at it, and they never did. The room has a nice sized fridge and a small microwave, both very clean. They do not provied any plates, forks, etc so you have to provide your own.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. Check-in and check-out has always been efficient and front desk staff has been helpful and knowledgeable. Easy access from and to the interstate, next door to a truck stop but very quiet. Convenient to numerous restaurants and shopping. Room was clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast includes some hot foods as well as the usual cereal and pastry choices. In my opinion this is probably the best choice in the area.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel and room was immaculate, the bed was the most comfortable I'd ever slept in while traveling, and the assistance and hospitality could not be topped. I plan to always look for a Baymont Inn when I travel. Many thanks to the staff!

The mini kitchen was very helpful. The beds were terrible. Terrible beds ended up ruining the stay for my wife and I. Very uncomfortable mattresses and below expectation linens were disappointing.

Do NOT set up a room block for potential guests at the Baymont Inn in Augusta, GA!!! We were charged for 9 rooms (over $***) for rooms that were held in a "courtesy block" for our wedding in August 2008. Beware of room blocks especially if they do not provide you with documentation of the "contract". The customer service was horrendous.

This hotel was very unexpected surprise. I was not familiar with the hotel chain, but I assumed it was nice based on the location of the hotel. Boy was I right!! The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and they were energy efficient. Great value for the money. I will stay with this brand again.

Hotel appeared new. Quality materials used in baths (granite counter top and shower). Not the most attractive area but ok. Nice hotel. Not fancy but some nice upgrades in bathrooms. Was impressed with the price seeing the quality of the property.

BAYMONT INN & SUITES-AUGUSTA, GA: The room was nice enough except that I came into a dirty coffee pot that still was not clean the two days we were there. The shower curtain rod was broken on both ends, thus the curtain would fall into the middle and get water all over the floor...annoying and unsafe. Although I reported this to the front desk, it was not fixed during our two-day stay. Also, the toilet handle had to be held down in order to flush. This too, was reported but not fixed. This hotel is about a year old. Enough time for any kinks to be ironed out (kinks that should not even be there to begin with). I understand problems and mistakes but the lack of concern and the out-right apathy shown in place of customer service, causes me to rate this as a definite AVOID!
