The indoor pool was great It was a clean, friendly easy to find place

We stayed in a King Suite with a jacuzzi tub. We enjoyed it very much. They supplied bathrobes and large towels next to the tub. They also supplied razors, shaving gel, toothbrushes, toothpaste, a comb, as well as shampoo and lotion. We didn't use the shower but it looked nice. The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows to choose from. They had a flat screen TV with many channels to choose from. There was also a balcony that overlooked the swimming pool and hot tub with a table and chairs. The breakfast bar was a pretty typical bar with waffles, muffins, bagels, fruit, juice, coffee, etc. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice and I think it was heated. Some other people did use it. The room was quiet and comfortable. I will definately stay here again.

I liked the whirlpool spa and heated indoor pool. Pump equipment for pool was loud. Clean and nice pool. Lobby too small. Nice waffles for people to make themselves included in continental breakfast. Desk attendants need to be more professional.

My wife and I stayed in a Vagabond in Sacramento and liked it. This Vagbond was far inferior, filthy, noisy, in a terrible neighborhood. The blankets had stains and were threadbare. The room was in general tattered and filthy. The pool wasn't even heated. At 3:00 AM garbage trucks created very loud noise and woke everybody up. Staff were indifferent. It was such a horrible experience I cut my trip short. It's cheap but still not worth it.

Great indoor swimming pool. Dinghy carpet. Great for kids. Great indoor pool and Jacuzzi. Fairly close to the 5 freeway. Decent breakfast. Rooms are decent--nothing to brag about.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean comfortable rooms. Inside corridors, windows that open. Usual hotel breakfast. Convenient location. Best I've found in this town.

Continental breakfast was good. Hotel overpriced for other hotels I have stayed. New Hotel. Not a good value for other hotels I have stayed.

Really enjoyed the facility. Wanted to make a quick trip to the Shasta area and this property fit the bill. Great location, day front desk staff excellent, clean rooms, great breakfast. Only a couple things to improve on: 1/The evening staff is not informed about local attractions. No effort was made to find out answers to our questions. 2/A note on the side door leading from the parking lot said that you needed your room key for access into the bldg. Wrong. We staying there could come and go at will by just opening the door...meaning anyone else could too!

The setting is convenient, it's quiet. The towels were rougher than they should be no folding rack for suitcases, and no shower caps! On the whole it was okay, the shower area has no shelf to put the things you want when you take a shower.

I was very pleased with my stay here recently. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the room was spotless, the AC was nice and cold (it was 100 degrees outside), the staff were very courteous and efficient, and convenient parking was available. When I return to the Redding area I will absolutely stay here again. Only 1 minor issue: the shower head needed replacing. Big deal.

Very clean, new, helpful and friendly staff. Continental breakfast limitted,Would recommend adding juice, fruit variety rather than just apples and whole grain (non sugary) cereals.

It was quite & clean. For those who require protein at breakfast, boiled eggs would have been greatly appreciated! This was our first time at a merino¿s inn and we were pleasantly surprised. This is a new hotel and so it was clean, quite as it is a couple of blocks off of the freeway and the staff was very accommodating. We will gladly return.

Indoor pool The suites are terrible. I purchased a king suite w/ balcony mass eve. The balcony is not an outdoor balcony, it leads into the indoor pool, so unless you like smelling chlorine, you need not apply. Also it's basically a standard room with an extra 100 feet and a lousy whirlpool tub. Not worth it.

The pool looked good. The price was a little too high for the size of the room. The room was fairly quiet. Just off Hilltop Dr. is a convenient location. Newer motel and clean. Staff was friendly.

The in room spa. Too noisy, friends got into Oxford suites for $119. Its clean and looks fairly new. Rooms are nice sized. Parking lot is too small. Close to major streets with lots of food. Not bad.
