First, i would like to say that online travel did a terrible job with informing correctly about the hotel amenities. The hotel is dingy, unclean, and unfit for even your pet to stay there! Lets start with the so called shuttle services, Shuttle service to the hotel stopped at 8pm, and had to pay exit airport fee of $21.95 plus the fare where we were going to, second the taxi drivers don't even know where they are going because they had to call the hotel on directions on how to get there! After all is said and done, the 15 minute cab ride to the hotel cost us 50 bucks! Just when we thought it couldn't get any worse, they advertised a fitness facility, i asked the hours operation, the front desk personnel said its under construction! And the worse part began with the hotel room! The hotel room is nasty, the carpets had stains, and moldy smell in the room, the shower curtians had molded stains, the wallpaper peeling, and stains on the bed. We request extra washclothes with the expections they would be in our room by the time we came back from the Texas stadium and they weren't there! I had to go to the front desk to ask for this and the front desk personnel said, "let me see if we have any extras" I was horrified to hear him say this. There was never a manager on duty and when I called travel agent customer service (which is outsourced in India)several times to correct the situation, told me to call back when a manager is available, (which was never because I have asked for this manager, xxx whom so happen to get sick and no one to take her place). Overall, spend extra to get better!

Indoor pool. Lack of personality on hotel staff, not friendly and rude.

This hotel is proof of the old saying that you get what you pay for. The pool appeared clean, but my son broke out in a TERRIBLE rash from all the chemicals. The hot tub temperature was a bit below scalding and with the jets on, there were bubbles a foot high. People swimming in their clothes wasn't too cool either. The room key reader continuously screwed up - we had to have multiple key cards issued and even with that, it sometimes took several tries to get into the room. None of the staff seemed to be too concerned about it. The "business center" was a tiny PC with a busted mouse and broken printer. The clerk said "yeah, we might get the new one in a few more days. We've been waiting forever." The Texas waffles were a novelty but the breakfast buffet was never fully stocked or replenished at any given time - we tried going there early and late, with no difference. The room was clean enough, but we had to switch from our first room since it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in days. If I had not made my arrangements through online travel website (and therefore couldn't cancel without forfeiting the money), I would've gone elsewhere. In fact, the whole experience will make me book directly in the future.

The breakfast did not have much choice. There was a shuttle bus on the property and when we asked about transportation we were told it was not operating. We actually had to go to the hotel next door and use their shuttle!! The staff was not very helpful as far as directions either. They were not able to tell us where anything was nearby.

Close and an indoor pool. Non working equipment in room, unable to move to a new room, not ready when arrived to check in, told the side doors were open and usable but were not. It was ok, it had an indoor pool which is what we were looking for just to get away for the night and take our young daughter to swim, the price was too high for the hotel.

"This hotel was hard to get to but it was in a nice area right off the main highway. The breakfast was good, staff was great, rooms were clean and pool area was enjoyed. There are some things about the room (no fridge/microwave) but everything else was good and in working order. We slept well and there was parking close to our room. Over all a great place for a family. We felt safe there. "

The Baymont was an overall nice hotel. It is not far off the main area of restaurants but the view from the back has a little to be desired (abandoned building next door). The staff was WONDERFUL however. They more than made up for any down side to our stay. For short stays, bring an air freshener and this is a nice, reasonable hotel to stay.

I liked how they offered us a refrigerator and a microwave. I didn't like how you could hear everyone in the hallway when they woke up in the morning. It wasn't very quiet at all. This hotel is very cute and about 20 minutes in a taxi to downtown Dallas. It isn't a very quiet morning if you like to sleep in (lots of families). The breakfast was nice, because they had a waffle maker, pastries, and cereal. I also liked the way the staff was very friendly, and let us check out an hour late, being that the electricity was out for two-three hours in the morning.

Rooms were very clean. Pool area nice and very accessible. I really liked the Texas shaped waffle maker in the breakfast bar. Front desk staff very friendly.Only complaint was that hot water kept fading out from hot to cold.

Staff friendly. Rooms dirty and not cleaned upon check in. Host had to manually walk us through several rooms before he found a clean one. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

"I have been staying at the Baymont for business - the staff is fabulous, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The only complaint (minor) I have is that housekeeping could pay a little more attention to detail. Other than that - great place to stay and great price. Lots of eating options nearby. Breakfast rocks!"

Location to Texas stadium. Nail clipping on the much stained sofa in our room! Perfect location near Texas stadium, with close restaurant options, however, staff seemed uninformed and facility was very dirty.

Better directions to the hotel. Carpet on the hall floor smells old and musty. Great place. Close to a lot of Eating places, also close to major freeways, price was good for the length of stay and last the free full breakfast every morning was very nice to.

Room was nice air worked great big plus. The carpet out of the rooms needs a lot of work. Over all was a nice stay. Room was nice for an older place. Air worked great. Staff was nice and friendly. Would stay here again.
