It was not only not clean ( bathtub, tile floor, carpet, bed, window), but is in great need of remodeling. Worn carpet, stained countertop, scratched faucet, cracked tiles, etc. Also, there was no place to sit and eat breakfast because they had only 4 tables in the eating area for all the guests.

The trip was a family event, and the location was central. The internet was was not adequate, no wireless and wiring for laptops. The description of the rooms needs updating. The building is a bit run down and needs an elevator. The staff was obviously tired and overworked. I would rate the hotel as average or below average.

I like that the sink area was seperate from the tub/toilet area. We could hear the people on the floor above us during the night. For the price of the room we got what we paid for. It was nice for an overnight stay, but would not stay there long because I would need sleep at some time, and that is almost impossible with the noise of footsteps. But it was very clean, the bed was comfortable and clean, as was the room.

Pillows were lumpy, mattress was obviusly very old, judging by fraying at the bottom. Sheets were threadbare. Whole hotel smelled of smoke.

The Baymont Inn was very quiet.Location is good close to medical facilities and a mall.Room lack certain amenities,fridge,microwave.The bathroom was nice and big.

clean,some evidence of repairs needed in public areaslike an air conditiong unit by the soda machine in hall area, pool tiles missing but pool area clean and usable,felt safe,have to go around service road and under pass if approaching from the east. would stay again if just passing through. good breakfast had scrambled eggs and biscuit and gravy. not outstanding but perfectly acceptable for the price.

We stayed at this motel on our way to Santa Fe Aug 5, 2008. We liked it so much we rebooked it on way back from Vail, Co. on 08/31/2008. The one thing that could be improved would be a small refrigerator in the room. The other thing that we liked was a Red Lobster restaurant right next door. We ate dinner there on both of our stays.

My wife & I often spend a weekend in Amarillo which is a two hour drive from home. This was that kind of weekend. I left the mobile phone at home and came just to take it easy. I have not used online travel website for some time so decided to use them for the hotel. The hotel was nothing special. It is the type of place you would stay if you were just needing a place to spend the night. I got the feeling it is an old motel remodeled and used a lot of outdoor decorations to catch your attention. The help were friendly and well trained. The breakfast was okay. In fact, a little better than most. The air conditioning unit worked part of the time and in 102 degree weather was missed. We didn't use the pool or excerise room but both looked above average. As I said before this is "Okay" but not a place I would go again.

Everything I guess was good but the bed made our back hurt. The maid should have done much better on our room. She left trash unemptied and just didn't do a very good job at all.

The rooms are starting to show a little wear. We have stayed at this hotel 4 years in a row on a mission's trip and will stay here next year if we go through there.

"The hotel was dirty, the room was dirty. The clerk at the front desk said that, unfortunately, the room was a smoking room but she had air freshener to help with the smell. She then handed me a bottle of window cleaner. When I pointed out that it was window cleaner, she insisted that it was air freshener. When I arrived in the room, it looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed in quite some time. My family and I kept our sock on and in the morning the bottoms of our socks were filthy. The walls in the hallways were scuffed and dirty and the whole building had a very dingy appearance."

The staff was terrific...I've stayed in other Baymonts and was not happy. My stay here will make me rethink staying at Baymont's again. The one in Jonesboro, AR. is also quite nice.

The rooms were large, spacious and the bed was comfortable. Located close to good restaurants and shopping. Friendly staff. I would stay there again, but only for one night not a vacation spot - but a great spot for a one night stay. Clean rooms and comfortable beds with extra pillows and blankets.

"We were very concerned about the multiple safety signs posted in the parking lot behind the Hotel & the one located on the bedside table. Maybe they should hire a security guard to patrol the property instead. The positives were they were very pet friendly, breakfast was very good! and a perfect halfway point from Houston to Colorado."
