This was an excellent hotel for the price. I was attending a hair style show at the convention center. This was within walking distance for me. I would highly recommend it. I also enjoyed the little shops that were located in the hotel.

Absolutely nothing. Don't ever stay here. The hallways, the furniture in the hallways looked like they weren't cleaned for years. Then when you walk into the rooms everything looked old & there was a nasty smell in the air. The bathroom looked unsanitary & didn't even has toilet paper in the room. Then when you wanted to use the bathroom it didn't even flush.

A friend and I went there for a wedding. When we arrived, though the front desk man wasn't very polite we were allowed to check in early to get ready for the wedding. The room had a great view of the harbor. The room appeared to be clean. But that's where the advantages stop. There was a hole about the size of a deck of cards in the wall. My friend and I took moved the dresser in front of it just in case it turned out to be a peep hole. It smells funny throughout the hotel, but especially in the bathrooms. The bathroom floor didn't appear to be cleaned prior to our arrival. The water tastes horrible and is not soft. We decided not to shower there. the ballroom where the wedding took place turned out really nice with the decorations from the wedding. The next day, we decided to try the continental breakfast. Apparently pastries are honey buns and danishes from the local gas station. The bread to make toast was already hard enough. We just stuck with the honey buns, milk and orange juice. You can see that this hotel was a beautiful place at one time. The architecture inside the hotel is wonderful. But now it looks like its rundown and unkept.

Ok...so the hotel is a little old, and it shows it's age. But this is where you go to escape. I went for Spring break with a friend and we had a great view of the bay. The staff was very polite and knowledgeable of everything in town. Nicely centralized to everything you could want to do in corpus and within in waling distance to just about everything. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Location. Very dirty, pool area dirty, in need of repair. This hotel is in need of major renovations. It is very dirty, trash is not picked-up, pool area was very unappealing. I would not recommend this hotel for any reason.

When we checked in the desk clerk promptly told me that she did not have our reservation and when I asked her to call Travelocity to confirm, she rolled her eyes at me. Without speaking a word in response to me, she picked up the phone and received the confirmation. Only one of the 2 keycards to the room worked and neither worked on the entrance to the building from the parking deck. The parking deck had large signs stating "Park at your own risk" and risky it was since there were no lights at night! The pool had that green astroturf around it and it was COVERED with mold!! I would not recommend this hotel.

My husband claimed that the water kept changing from hot to cold in the middle of his showers. I didn't experience that. The girl at the front desk was moody at times. Our stay wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst believe me I've had worse. We weny for my Cousin's wedding and the ballroom was beautiful. I believe that we would give it another try :-)

It was ok for the price we paid anything over that it's not worth it.When we first arrived we went to our room it didn;t appear that housekeeping even vacummed, I complained and it was taken care of quickly.Staff was very nice.I would stay again.

we arrived and found roaches in the bathroom and curtains. they moved us to another room were we had very loud neighbors.I also had my laptop and had work to do, the area which we were being interfered with by the other hotel, so i had to go downstairs in the lobby and work instead of being able to do it in the comfort of my room and missed out on family activies because of this.

The location and view of the ocean is wonderful. Didn't have wash cloths to bathe. Overall, it was an excellent price and place to stay. This is my second year of choosing this hotel and staying there.

The stay was okay but the rooms were not clean at all, we had no towels and carpet was wet. Lobby area was extremely hot. A/C was broken in lobby. Staff was VERY Rude!!!! We had to ask for clean towels and soap because it was not provided. The lobby area smelled very bad. Restroom was not clean at all, ceilings looked moldy.

when I woke up the first morning there was a'vagrant' sleeping in the lobby on the 9nth floor. 3 hours later he was still there. I spoke with the staff about it, they apologized and took care of it. I did not feel very safe there because of this incident, and because the chain lock was broken on the door.

Good location, close to the shore, bars and good restaurants. Unprofessional, rude staff. Very unhygienic and dirty bathrooms, public spaces and rooms. The only thing nice about the hotel was its location. It is close to the shore, some good restaurants and bars. The rooms were unkempt, dirty and unhygienic. The public spaces such as the elevators, public restrooms and aisles were worse. There was litter all over and seemed to have lacked cleaning for over a couple of days. The phone in the room wasn't working. Upon asking the staff for the reason, they expected me to do the troubleshooting to figure out as to why that was the case. The staff were not familiar of their own premises. They didn't seem to know or care where the ice vending machines were. I was asked to try either the 2nd or the 4th floor. I think this says allot about the hotel in general. I will never go back to this hotel again.

When you walk in the hotel (if that is what you want to call it) The A/C did not work, Smelled bad and there was trash everywhere. The Room when we walked in there was food crumbs on the floor, like it had not been vacuumed in a week, the room smelled badly. The bathroom tub is like plastic and it was peeling off in several places and there was a crack in the ceiling in the tub area. There was no hot water. We turned the hot water all the way on and left the cold off and it was cold. We had to ask them to clean our room and when they did they did NOT give us towels, no soap, and no shampoo. (Thankful we brought our own) Call them and waited and then still no towels, no nothing, called 2 hours later and the guy had an attitude then brought the things we needed to the room. The remote for the TV was not even for that TV. It did not work. The list can go on.

Our stay at the Bayfront Plaza Hotel was great. The room had all the accomodations that we needed. This was our second stay there in two years and we would stay there again.

Clean and the staff were very friendly. Loved the breakfast and the gift shop was nice. The water temp seemed to fluctuate a little too much. No post card stamps available! Overall, I am very happy with this hotel. My 15 year old daughter and I were very comfortable and there several sights and eateries within walking distance. It's not luxury but definitely worth the money I spent.

travel webs use of Bayfront plaza's website is the worst case of false advertisement i have ever seen. the bayfront plaza is the most disgusting, dirty, rundown, piece of crap in corpus christi. this hotel makes the motel 6 look like the omni. it is in desperate dire need of a makeover, and i would never recommend this hotel to anyone. their pictures are faulty and their rooms smelled like raid roach spray. the only reason i stayed at this crappy dive is because travel webs already charged my credit card for this dreadful stay and did nothing to compensate me for my discomfort. i would not recommend this hotel or travel webs to use to anyone.

Location. The entire hotel had a horrible odor, the experience was horrible. This hotel is by for the worse hotel I have ever stayed at. The entire hotel had an odor, smelling like mold. There were several things in my room which were unacceptable. We found two places where there was old gum stuck on the wall and window and was not cleaned out. I became ill just being at the hotel with the smell. There is a back elevator, not marked on the floor I was on as maintenance and employees only with dirty plungers on the elevator. The pool was fairly clean, however the chairs around the pool were all broken and there was a great deal of debris and pieces of wood in the pool area. The food in the breakfast buffet looked dirty and horrible we didn't even dare to try the food. They would not even allow you to take the food back to your room, and the staff was rude in the dining room. Our entire experience was horrible.
