although the exterior looks antiquated, the room was very nice and the beds quite comfortable

We arrived late in the evening and the front desk person was totally clueleas as to what he was doing. My fiance and I do alot of excercising so we learned we got a discount at the gym across the street, later we found out we could of got in for free because the Bay Breeze has a partnership with the Deville. Not only that but we could of used the Devilles pool and beach no charge, the pool at the Bay Breeze was disgusting with chunks of plaster floating in the pool that broke off the bottom. Had we had known earlier about useing the Delville it would of made for a more pleaseant trip, but we had to pry that out of the staff. The rooms...atrocious!!!!! The air conditionar sounded like a semi and didn't do much for cooling off the room. The sheets were rough and stained. The TV had a lock on it. The bathroom was unsanitary and pieces of the wall were falling off. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!!!!

I was surprised to find such a reasonably priced motel on Collins Ave., one of Miami beaches main streets. It is conveniently situated about half way between Miami's South Beach and Haulover nude beach. The only thing wrong with this hotel is the lack of a restaurant. Do not let this put you off, there are a few places for breakfast, and dinner nearby, Dunkin Donuts, Pizza Hut, and a few cafes. I thoroughly recomend this motel. I will stay there when I visit Miami again.

tv didn't work, roaches and bugs crawling around, dirty sheets(stained with blood). changed rooms three times each room worst than the last. 30 minutes away from the beach. there was no parking b/c their parking lot is used for valet parking for the deville hotel.

The Hotel didn't have a restaurant, however there was a "Dunkin Donuts" store and a "Mcdonald's"nearby that served breakfast. The hotel was about halfway between Miami Beach, and Haulover nude beach, and about half an hour from Miami City Centre. Located on Collins Ave. buses went by the hotel every few minutes. If you looking for good value and convenient location, this hotel is hard to beat.

By far the worst hotel experience ever!!! ITS A MOTEL!! The beaches are located between 5th and 14th street, this hotel is located on 66th st...Be prepared to spend cab fares or jump on the bus for about 20 min,... Just to have a good time.. The pool is filthy and so is the room.... THe bathroom is moldy i took showers w/ my flip flops on...They asked us for 100.00 dep which made no sence because they had nothing to offer us, not even water!!! NEVER STAY HERE!!!!

A group of 6 of us stayed the night of Nov 23 and checked out Nov 24. We were to stay again Nov 29 thru Dec 1. We arrived at the hotel about midnight on the 23rd. The desk clerk was rude and not very helpful. The only good thing about this hotel was the beds were conmfortable and clean. The bathroom was not the greatest. The information on line told us that they were within walking distance of the beach. But what it didn't say was you have to walke several blocks out of your way because of construction. There were no close places to get a decent breakfast. We were so disappointed that we cancelled our reseveration for Nov 29 thru Dec 1 an booked with another hotel in Miami Beach that my husband and I stayed at in Dec 2005. (Just a few blocks from this nightmare.)

Our hotel room was paid in full at time of booking; when we arrived, we were charged an additional $10.00 "hotel fee" to cover the cost of the swimming pool in the hotel across the street, which we did not use. Elevator access is at the top of a set of stairs. The first room we were given smelled like mold. The rooms are small, antiquated (not in a good way) and dirty looking; we felt like we were in a dungeon. The taxi fare was $40.00 from the airport. We could not wait to get out of this hotel!

The rooms were marginally clean, the floor had ants and flying insects constantly, the card keys did not work, the TV was non working, the telephone was not even plugged in and did not have a cord!!! This hotel charged $* per night for parking but then when there was none available, they refused to return the $$ and we had to park over two blocks away in 100 degree Miami heat and walk to the Hotel. We expected beach access which there was NONE. You had to give a $*.- per night deposit up front. This amount was returned at checkout but deposit for what??? There were no amenities. The card keys did not work first in one room, then in another!! The staff was cheeky and discourteous, I feel that we should get our funds back and I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. We could not even get addl towels and no bath rug was offered. DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL!!!

You have to make a safe deposit of $* at check in, although it was a prepaid reservation. There is no place for you to park your car, you have to leave it on a public parking garage, two blocks away. You can't make phone call from the room just receive it. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to anybody of my relation.

By far the worst experience... ever!! I thought I was being PUNK'D. The place needs TLC. Parking is $15 if you're lucky to find a space. Only fits like 30 cars... and we weren't lucky. Our car had to stay at a public parking place, in which everyone was asking if we were leaving when we went to pick up some stuff from the car because parking was limited. They recently changed their name... hopefully they change everything else.

Front desk help is terrible, they do not answer phone calls, there is no A/C in the lobby. Some telephones in rooms do not work when calling operator. Hotel owner do not allow local calls, plumbing in bathroom is terrible. TV signal sometimes disappear. There are no hanging for clothes. There are no ice machines in the hotel and you have to buy ice at a nearby store. Some electricity outlets in rooms do not work neither. it is just disgusting Shame on you online travel website listing this terrible hotel for such high price!!!

The hotel was dirty. The pool stayed dirty. The employees weren't much help at all.

This was a budget hotel. The staff lost my reservation after I had been traveling for quite sometime to get to Miami. It took me 1 and 1/2 hours to convince them to check me in even though I had prepaid through the Internet. Otherwise the hotel was not that bad for a budget hotel.

Seconed, you think cause you booked a room for this hotel that you will have a phone to use...Wrong!!! people can call you but you can't call out! "Bars on the hotel windows! No ice (they sent me down the street to purchase some! No hangers! No tourist information or local maps! Guests partying all night and using vulgar language and shouting at each other. Foul odors in the halls. Dark, dank place in daylight. Front desk personal unsympathetic. Rough neighborhood as well! "

"Do not stay here. I am a very low-maintenance traveler who can stay almost anywhere as long as its reasonably clean. This place has had reports of bedbugs and the mattress in the room I was placed in was stained and moldy. Towels were wet and stained, as was the carpeting. Completely unacceptable. The information about proximity to the beach was also false. "
