I requested a king size bed ended up with two doubles, the rook smelled like smoke, the front desk clerk was not friendly, the shower walls was not clean, you could hear whatever was going on in the next room as if you were there. I would not ever stay here. From previous trips I have always gotten what I reserve, my rooms never smelled like smoke and the walls never been so thin. And God behold I never stayed at a hotel with nasty shower walls.

This was an awful hotel! Found 1 dead roach in the room. Another dead roach in dining room right by our table. The mattress was so old we had to sleep at the edge to try not to roll into the middle hole. This hotel was run down. The only nice thing was the location,.

The bathroom was the dirtiness bathroom I have ever seen at an hotel! The tub was cleaning badly! The staff was worried if we was happy or not! The breakfast was the best thing!!!!!

I would recomemnd the Battlefield Inn to anyone. They were the most accomadating that I have ever stayed in . Friendly ,nice and the service was right on.Good food ,clean and very helpful.Great Place to stay,I wish I could have stayed longer.Our sister passed and all her children live out of town . They furnished them with the banquet room for the family. They really took care of they.Thank you to the Staff of the Battlefield Inn and May God Bless you in a very special Way.Bettie Lee

Hyped beyond capabilities and not worth the free drinks and breakfast. Our second room (first was a smoker) was dated and not clean. A clerk with an "attitude" didn't help. I had to show her my internet rate before she believed me. This place needs a renovation or better yet, demolition and reconstruction, but save the birds 'cause they're cute and have long ago forgotten how to survive in the wild.

Hotel staff was wonderful, food servers were in desperate need of more help. Was great for the kids to play, museum right next door large pool for kids miniture gold basket ball and the parrots were a big hit, food was awesome, but had ti wait a long time for our meals twice. Very historical and educating for the kids. will definitly come back
