It is off the main street so it's easy to get in and out. Rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast was great. It is a wonderful place with great rates. I would recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

An older hotel that still uses actual keys for rooms. Good for a family on a tight budget. The pool was great though the hot tub could have been warmer. The windows could use some serious cleaning. The room was clean and smelled good. A few areas where wallpaper was peeling in corners. The location was great for those who know how to use the different routes around the strip. It was quiet and we were able to get a good night sleep. Desk staff was friendly and willing to help with any needs. The continental breakfast was good as well. We would stay here again.

We were very satisfied and would stay again. As some of the other reviews note, the rooms have old wallpaper that needs to be replaced, but I don't think we would have noticed if not for that review. The bathroom was nice and clean and the beds were clean (nice smelling-no smoky odor as we've had at some hotels) and comfortable. One BIG plus for us was that the hotel was very quiet. Our sleep was not interrupted once even though there were plenty of guests the first night of our stay. The pool was unheated but clean. The "hot tub" doesn't really have water jets, just a gentle stirring really, but it was relaxing anyway. The breakfast was not anything to write home about, but they had some good (and fresh) donuts, bagels, etc. The biscuits and gravy were pretty darn good the second morning. Overall, we thought that for the price it was well worth it. We were glad we didn't stay right in the heart of town where it was noisy and busy.

The Barrington Hotel was a great place to stay. The continential breakfast was fantastic and the rooms were very clean. we enjoyed our stay very much and will stay there again when we go to Branson.

I choose to stay at the Barrington every time I go to Branson. This was my 5th stay Its a little out of the way, located on the red route, but the plus is that it is away from the traffic jam on Hwy 76 and only takes a few minutes to get to any destination. The hotel is older and could use a makeover but the room I had this time was clean and the bed is comfortable and that is what we were looking for. Yes the FREE breakfast is nothing to shout home about but it is FREE. The hotel is quiet and the staff is friendly. I think its charming that they still use actual keys for the rooms. And the price is GREAT

A short drive to attractions with a convenient shopping plaza nearby. Cleanliness okay, desk staff a real mixture of helpful to unfriendly. A pretty good value for the money. Good for a family on a budget!!

wall paper was falling off the wall, carpets needed cleaning and vaccuuming. the window needed cleaning, sink needed to be replaced. bathroom door is misalligned and would not latch. front door had to be pushed closed. the breakfast was poor. i could go on but i won't.

Upon spending the evening I awoke to find food and wrappers beside the bed, (nothing we had eaten). Breakfast fruit was canned peaches and the biscuits for the gravy were cold. The lady working the breakfast was in the hallway making personal calls on her cell. There was cold cereal, toast, bagel and instant oatmeal included in the breakfast. The furniture was torn, the hide-a-bed was not functional and the hot tub was filthy. Don't waste your money here. PS: The jacuzzi suite is merely a one person bath tub jacuzzi situated away from the tv and frig.

"Excellent location. It is off the strip, but close to red & blue routes. It isn't fancy at all. It is just very basic, but worked for our family. Our kids loved the pool."

I felt lost constantly and the staff just contributed to this feeling. Because of the location of the hotel (top of red route & close to blue route) onje wrong turn and you were lost from hotel driveway. Perhaps better staff directions would have helped.

"Nice location, the beds are a little hard and the hallways could use a good cleaning but stay was ok."

Staff was not helpful. We more than once asked for things from the front desk and found that they were very unhelpful. The location is pretty good. Off the main strip so it is quiet and there is easy access to the bypasses.

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff are super friendly, housekeeping was great, beds a little hard, but we slept well on them and didn't wake up with aches. Will definitely stay there again. Location was great, on red route out of main traffic area but close to everything."

"This hotel has very friendly and efficient staff. It was in need of renovations, but for an older hotel it was very well kept"
