Merge onto I-464 S/US-17 S/MARTIN LUTHER KING JR MEMORIAL HWY via EXIT 291B toward VA-104 S/ELIZABETH CITY/US-17 S/DOMINION BLVD/VA-168 S. 6. Merge onto VA-168 S via the exit on the LEFT toward NAGS HEAD/MANTEO Portions toll. 7. VA-168 S becomes US-158 S. 8. End at 1 Cypress Knee Trail.

The facility is in the woods and seems to be miles from the city when you are there, but there is a Walmart within walking distance and many other stores close by. We found out unit to be very well clean and maintained as was the complex. The kitchen was great with a set of 12 place settings including glasses & goblets, dinner & salad plates saucers, cups, utensils, etc. The bath linens seemed new and of very good quality. Other supplies were plentiful. The laundry, iron & ironing board and vacuum were shared by two units. Our two bedroom upstairs unit had great bedrooms and the living room furniture was very nice. The staff was very friendly and bent over backward to be of help and meet any request we made. The indoor and out door pools were large and very nice except that no diving is allowed in either pool even where the water is 9 feet deep!! They allow fishing in their lake which has a walk all around it, and even provide fishing poles at no charge. Our grand kids enjoyed feeding the ducks, geese & numerous turtles with the free food they provide. They have really nice exercise rooms with plenty machines, free weights and aerobics as well as other facilities which you can read about on their web site. We had plenty to do in the area and so did not participate in their activities. They have a parking lot reserved for their guests that is about 1 mile from their facility and 1/2 block from the beach. It is the best I have experienced other than being directly on the beach. We had a great time. Con: The wooden stairs to our unit were slippery when wet which could have easily been fixed with some non-skid paint at the edge of each step.
