BasicIt fiulfilled our needs, but should be clearly advertised as a bunkhouse rather than hotel.Decor quite tatty, although kept quite clean.

What a SurpriseWe were in your hotel just for an overnight stay without trying out your catering service so it may not entirely fair to make a good review. All I can say is it was a surprise to find a nice and convenient hotel in Fort William like this. The room is quite roomy and very clean. The hotel is strategically located and just a short walk from the railway station. As a result, we can find your hotel with a little help easily (we arrived at the hotel at about 10pm on that day).Dicatated by our iternary, it was such a pity that we could only make an overnight stay without enjoying the breakfast! If we could have the opportunity to visit Fort William again, I've no hestitation to stay in this hotel again!

Bank Street LodgeAs always hotel staff in Scotland are realy friendly. Bank Street Lodge was cosey, friendly and clean. The ladies made us really welcome and we totally enjoyed the experience. It makes a refreshing change to stay at a place that is informal, homely and relaxing.

It was a nice hotel but it was a litlle hard to find the directions on the internet are very vague. Other than that it was very nice. I put value for money as good but since the pound is double our money it was pricey but that goes for all over the U.K. not just this place.

Hotel was a pretty old building. Stairs creaked amazingly but luckily our room wasn't near it. It was very basic and probably more suited to backpackers.

The lodge location was very central and the main street just being a few minutes walk. The room was good but it's location at the front of the lodge was not. Late night drinkers and smokers were directly below our room at the front of the lodge. The noise was ongoing outside until 03:30am. I would use this lodge again but certainlynot if I was given a front room.

Good place for young people, hikers, skiiers etc. The rooms are small but clean. Walls are very thin and hallwaysvery creaky - didn't get much sleep. Very uncomfortable mattress! 55 Quid for double bed ensuite seems steep to me for what we got - but England is expensive!Handy location not far from the rail station but uphill climb!Stables, Italian restaurant underneath is very nice, Good food, very clean, friendly staff.

The hotel is a clean hostel-type, no food. Very well located, easy to find. Only bad thing really was our bedroom was extremely noisy - felt like a giant cistern was running all night in our room, noisy doors closing. Pity, and maybe it was just this room, but a poor night's sleep.

Got in at about 11.15pm after an all day mountain bike race. Tired, dirty and ready for sleep.Extremely helpful staff, sorted out doing some laundry for me (which done by the time I was up next day) and a good secure place to keep my bike, plus directions for where I was going next.Just what I needed.

Location was central. Customer services were very friendly. Perhaps more suited for young groups looking for a dormitory/ hostel like accomodation. Avoid the basement car-park.
