What transport is available to get around?: The transport really depends on where you would like to go. There is a bus that runs throughout Banff for a low cost of $2 per transfer. Everything in Banff is very central and within 5-10 walking distance on the Y Mountain Lodge. There are buses to and from the ski hills (Big 3 - Lake Louise, Sunshine Village and Mount Norquay) that run every 45 minutes - 1 hour from several locations in Banff, for the low cost of $15 return. The best transfer available in terms of price and time to and from destinations is the Banff Airport which takes just under 2 hours and costs $55 on average.
