An excellent choice for budget style accommodation in Central Riga. KM 05/07Rooms are basic but spacious, bright and clean, all decorated in a Scandinavian style using light woods. Many rooms are dormitory style and have bunk beds but regardless of the number of beds the room will be for your own private use - so clients may have additional beds in their rooms but these will not be sold. All of Riga's places of interest are within easy walking distance. The hostel is situated just 100m from Riga's bus and train stations and one of Riga's largest department stores, the national opera and has excellent road links in/out of Riga. This hotel does not have a restaurant - there is a kitchen available for clients use and there are many cafes, restaurants and bars around the hotel which serve food. The batlhostel is located on the 4th and 5th floors of a large traditional building typical of the architecture in Riga. The reception area for the hostel is on the 5th floor even though most of the bedrooms are on the 4th floor of the building. The reception area is small with a limited seating area and TV for guest use.
