The Balneario Termaeuropa Playa Coma - Ruga hotel is located on one of the main roads in the village of Coma Ruga. It is in the second row of buildings from the seafront, about 50m from the sandy beach of Coma-Ruga. The Pau Casals Museum is just a 15-minute walk away. The surrounding villages are only a 10-minute drive from the hotel. It is about 30 minutes by car to Salou and Tarragona and 40 minutes to Barcelona international airport El Prat.
The hotel, which opened on the 23rd June 2006 stands out due to its impressive architecture and decoration. It comprises a total of 119 rooms on 4 floors, some of them with a lounge. As well as a terrace, the air-conditioned hotel offers guests an entrance hall, reception with 24-hour service, a currency exchange facility, lift access and a caf. Further facilities include a bar, a pub, a games room, a restaurant, a dining room and conference rooms. Guests can also make use of the laundry service or facilities and the on-site medical assistance. There is a playground for children and parking is available for those arriving by car (charges apply).
The rooms are spacious and fully furnished. They make a bold impression on guests with their fresh and modern decoration, using material of the highest quality. The rooms are disability-friendly and each comes with an en suite bath/ shower/ WC, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, TV, Internet access, a minibar and a safe. A double or king-size bed and a terrace also come as standard. Air conditioning and heating may be individually regulated.
The hotel has 3 swimming pools, of which 2 are sheltered and one is a children's paddling area. Sun loungers are also available for a fee. There is also a hotel gym, a Jacuzzi, a sauna, a steam room, a solarium and spa treatments available. Guests can go cycling or on motor biking or play basketball, handball, (beach) volleyball, bocce, bowling, golf or mini golf. A programme of entertainment is also provided. Sun loungers and parasols are laid out on the beach ready for use (for a small fee). Guests can also visit the pleasure park Port Aventura, try watersports at Club Nautico or carting, or take one of the various wine-tasting excursions into the surrounding picturesque villages, famous for their wine tradition. The cities of Reus, Tarragona and Barcelona are well worth a visit.
Guests can select their breakfast, lunch and dinner from a buffet. Starters can be chosen from a buffet and the second course is served to the tables. Bed & Breakfast, full-board and half-board stays are all available at the hotel. Drinks are included in the price.
