Stayed at the hotel in December 2007 which is why i am returning this year. Parking very limited. Will always use the Balmoral for its closeness to the beach and the city centre.

We arrived to friendly staff who were very helpful. We were taken to our room on the first floor. The room was clean but very small with a very small double bed for 2. I didn't feel safe in this area and didn't leave the hotel again till the next morning at check out time. Breakfast was good but staff were not that helpful. We were a little disappointed with this hotel.

This hotel is one of my favorites in the world and I have visited 22 countries. However, the area has an unsafe area very close and it seems to encroach closer and closer and you must be aware of this situation. It would be sad if this wonderful hotel is surrounded by unsavery conditions. It still feels safe but, I wanted you to know this.

The parking situation needs attention. They have very limited number of parking bays for the guests and its first come first serve.If you go out for supper with your vehicle and return,you are not guaranteed a spot and then need to go to the parking garage down the road which does not look too safe.

The Balmoral was a very beautiful hotel. It was very modernized, but had the the old world charm on it's furnishings and look. The room we had was suite style, large and comfortable. The room had 2 tv.s, 2 chairs, small refrigerator, 2 armoires for hanging clothes, king sized bed with night stand on each side, and desk area. Bathroom was standard size. It was ocean front and right on the Golden Mile tourist area.

I think they should separate the smokers and non smokers because I was in a room used by a smoker and I am allergic to cigarettes and this made me sick.

The building is old but very clean and well mantained, rooms very stylish, staff very friendly. I will come back again to stay more days.

very helpfull and friendly staff. good security. could offer a little bit more after hours in house entertainment. feel unsafe on street after hours. sea view room would have been a real nice touch of class. daily noisy building activity adjourning building. otherwise not bad for an old buiding.

This is a very nice hotel, comfortable rooms with cheery staff. Booked a room during a conference and came back twice since. Airport pick up and drop off service is reliable. Breakfasts very good and there are reasonable places to eat close....so one can walk as it is on the active, beach front.

It is a good hotel, though old and creaky and not very sound-proof. The staff were very friendly and competent. The buffet breakfast was also very good. I would stay there again on business, but wouldn't want to stay there with my family.

Aside from a few small hiccups, the service at the Balmoral was excellent. The breakfasts were a highlight as well.
