We aim to make your stay with us in the Bay of Islands the best that you will experience.
We are small enough to be personal with only 9 units - spacious 1 & 2 bedroom units with separate lounges, as well as 3 studios.
The Bali Hai Motel is located on the edge of Paihia overlooking the Bay of Islands towards Opua Harbour. All our rooms have been refurbished to 4-star quality. Our quiet location offers spacious grounds and sea and rural views from your balcony.
Take a short stroll down to Te Haumi beach and explore the coastal walkways. Walk over the hill or around the coast to Paihia township where there are cafes, shops and the wharf. Tours pick you up at the door to Cape Reinga and cruises around the beautiful Bay of Islands.
Why not also take a ferry to historic Russell or visit the Waitangi Treaty Grounds during your stay.

Transportation:
Paihia is on state highway 11 - approx. 4 hours drive north of Auckland. We are on the south side of town - as you enter from this end we are 200 metres up the hill on the right hand side.
Car Parking:
Undercover parking available.
Attractions:
Te Haumi beach is 200m away and Paihia town only 1.2km, a pleasant walk or very short drive. Waitangi is 5 minutes away by car.
There is so much to see and do here - make sure you book for more than one night. We are happy to advise and help organise any tours.
