Location
This historic hotel is situated only 6 km from the historical centre of Arezzo. Bars, links to public transport, the train station and shopping opportunities can all be found there. The hotel is a perfect starting point for visiting the beauties of the Etruscan town and the famous Antique Fair that takes place there on the first weekend of every month. Cortona, Siena and Florence are all less than an hour away.
Facilities
The hotel building is a restoration of an ancient monastery from the XVII century, and is the ideal location for those seeking relaxation and quiet. It is situated on the top of a panoramic hill, kissed by the sun and surrounded by an ancient wood. It offers 19 rooms in total, as well as air conditioning, a lobby, hotel safe, bar, TV room, restaurant, conference facilities, and Internet and WLAN access. Room and laundry services and a cycle hire service are also provided. Parking facilities are available to guests arriving by car.
Rooms
The rooms are comfortable and quiet and are all different. They feature all the modern facilities and amenities necessary for a comfortable stay, but have still preserved the atmosphere of old. All rooms come with a bathroom with shower and hairdryer, satellite TV, individually regulated air conditioning and heating, a direct dial telephone, a minibar, safe deposit box and WLAN access. Double or king-size beds also feature.

How to get there
Take the Autostrada A1 (Motorway A1) (Milano-Roma) towards Arezzo. The hotel is 19 km away from the Arezzo toll-booth. Follow the signs for Arezzo (connecting road) for about 8 km. Upon reaching the traffic lights at the end of the connecting road, go past the underpass and keep to the left. Follow the signs for Bibbiena-SS 71 (IPERCOOP) and keep going straight on. Go past the shopping centre and take the second exit at the roundabout. Go straight on until the next roundabout. Take a right here at the first exit and continue on as far as the traffic lights. At the traffic-lights turn left. Go straight on, pass under the arches of the ancient Romanesque aqueduct, and go past the Modern Cemetery as far as the crossroads. Turn left here taking the descent as far as the traffic-lights. Turn left at the signs for Pomaio- Poti- Mulinelli (Badia di Pomaio) on the left-hand side of the road. Go along the asphalt for about 4 km, following the signs for Badia di Pomaio. The whole route is through the woods.
