excellent room and service. Bar food limited and expensive

Location, easy to find. Need to update TV in rooms. More cleans lines. Great location. Attractive. Wonderful location for a night or weekend on the town. Friendly staff. Was hoping for a bit more on the room. For examples flat screens TV more updated furniture. Bathrooms were great.

An excellent stay in a fabulous central hotel. The rooms were huge and very comfortable and the little extras really added to out stay! Staff were helpful and friendly at all times and this hotel is a five minute walk fron Newbury street and a three minute walk from the Arlington T. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel overall, modern yet classically Boston. 3 minute walk to heart of Boylston. Really great bathrooms. Service was impeccable. Nice, big flatscreen TV in the rooms (though no HD channels yet). Only downside is that the room is a bit small, especially the work area which mitigates working comfortably in the room. But not terribly and this is a minor quibble. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

This is the 1st time I stayed there since it changed from Jury's to The Back Bay Hotel. It hasn't changed substaantively - still a great place.

I loved the hotel's cleanliness and upscale amenities, i.e., bathrobes, towel warmer, high quality shampoos, etc.; also, room was nicely decorated. Everything was fine.

we reserved a king room and were given a room with two doubles. we were then directed to the next room, which had doubles as well. the third room was a king, as we requested, however the air conditioning stopped working during the night. the front desk did apologize, but i would not stay there again with so many great hotels in the area.

The location, beautiful hotel andgood staff. Our room smelled of smoke but was non-smoking. No other rooms were available for a change. Have stayed here before. Wonderful staff and setting. Good food. Very loud bar area on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Room was great. Only neg was that their was only one small window in the corner, so the room was very dark. Everything else about the hotel was fantastic. Great location. Great customer svc. Be prepared to spend an extra $40.00 per night for parking though.

Excellent location with wonderful staff and welcoming and classy. My husband and I stayed at Jurys to celebrate our anniversary and the staff could not have been more welcoming or attentive. We loved our room, the feeling of history in a classy, beautifully renovated space and the breakfast buffet hit the spot. The location is perfect - just steps away from all the right places, but quiet. We loved our stay and highly recommend Jurys to others. An excellent value, too!

The hotel was very clean and had a comfortable king bed. It was quiet until someone would come and go from their room; when a door slammed, it made our room rattle. Friendly and helpful staff. Umbrellas were made available for the rainy weather. No coffee pot in the room...

Loved the hotel and friendly staff. Arrived early from our flight, and were given a room immediately. Great for couples, wouldn't necessarily recommend it for families. Lively bar, but was not disturbing while in our room. We walked all over Boston; friendly hotel staff gave great directions. We used the MBTA (Arlington Street entrance-green line) to travel to Quincy Market, The Black Rose (great Irish Bar with live music), and to dine in the North End. Also, Back Bay station is about 3 blocks away - we took the commuter rail to Providence, RI to attend "Waterfire" - it was beautiful (an over-night stay). The room was immaculate, and the bed at the Back Bay Hotel was especially comfortable, which was great after a busy day in Boston. We ate only one breakfast and one lunch in the restaurant - food was very good - the typically higher pricing you expect in the city hotels. Over-all, a very pleasing experience. Once you become familiar with the layout of the city, you'll discover just how convenient it all is to this location. We'd definitely go back.

I was travelling with my wife & three children on a 3 day vacation to visit historic Boston. Pretty staightforward getting to hotel from Logan: Get on the T Silver Line (a bus) that takes you to South Station where you pick up the T Red Line (a train) that takes you to the T Green Line to Arlington stop. Hotel is 2 blocks away; total cost for T is $2 per adult, kids ride free, or get a week-long T pass for $15 per adult, unlimited use. Hotel has a lot of character, room was pristine, had a fridge, free hard-wire internet access. Staff very friendly. We reserved online through Orbitz, had a discounted rate & were stunned at the quality of the room for the price. Would absolutely go back!

Jury's is a beautiful hotel ... very elegant, clean and has awesome customer service! This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in for customer service. Everyone is pleasant, helpful, and actually goes out of the way to accomodate the customer. From the valet, doormen, to checkin, maids and food/bar service folks ... OUTSTANDING! I would not only recommend this hotel but will stay here again next time I go to Boston. Jury's has a permanent customer! If I am ever in Ireland I will surely stay at their hotel there! PS ... the ONLY drawback we encountered was no pool on the premise.

Very nice location (Back Bay), close to the shopping district. Neighborhood is rather fancy and so are the restaurants (the latter might be a little drawback if you are not into too much fine dining). Public transportation (green line T-stop) is very close by and you can walk downtown. Got a crib as we were traveling with an infant which came including a cute teddy bear for the little one. There was also baby shampoo & diaper cream in the room when we came (how cute is that!) Only drawback was a large mirror wall that did allow our baby to constantly see us even when in the crib though we were sitting on the bed around the corner as well as the fact that the bathroom light was connected to a light in the entrance hall (where we had the crib located), which is a little unhandy when you want to use it at night when somebody else is sleeping. Staff was very friendly and the hotel was very pleasant, clean and definitely recommendable.

This was our second year in Boston attending the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships. In 2008 we stayed at the Intercontinental in South Boston. We selected Jury's this year due to the proximity to the Back Bay train station. It was an excellent location, but our experience at the hotel was only average compared to other hotels where we have stayed in the past. The hotel was small, the staff was not overly accommodating, the rooms were not cleaned properly each day and there was no turn down service. We ate in the hotel only once. The food was good, but we had to wait an exceptionally long time and it made us late for our engagement. When we come back to Boston, we will return to the Intercontinental. We booked that trip through Orbitz, also, and it was a much better experience for the money.
