The Best Western Mercedes Hotel is located within a classic 1930s Art Deco building, on the Right Bank's exclusive 17th arrondissement, less than two kilometres from the Parc Monceau, the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Elyses. The nearest airport is Charles de Gaulle Airport, 30 kilometres away.

The hotel is one metro stop away from the Parc Monceau, with its manicured gardens designed in the romantic style of the late 1800s. Overlooking the gardens are two of Paris' lesser-known museums: the Muse Nissim de Camondo is the reconstruction of an 18th-century aristocratic mansion, and the Muse Cernuschi contains the municipal collection of Chinese arts, restored and reopened in 2005.

Many of the hotel's original 1930s Art Deco architectural details have been preserved, such as the large stained-glass panels by the sculptor Grber which decorate the lower-level breakfast room and bar.
