Myself and a friend stayed here for one night and it was a very nice hotel. The pool and sauna facilities were excellent. The breakfast was very good. We were attending a party so did not eat in the restaurant.

The Aztec Hotel & Spa is an excellent hotel conveniently situated at the junction of the M5 and M4 motorways. You therefore do not have to go into Bristol. They also have their own pub across the road operated by Starbucks with a good range of food The hotel pool and gymnasium complex also very good.

Its so suitable with families with young children. The hotel provided a milk and cookie service for all children staying in the hotel- let reception know what time the are going to bed and they deliver complementary milk and cookies to your room. This really impressed our son he felt very important!!!The swimming pool and gym and changing facilities were are very clean- and opens onto an enclosed garden with ponds, ducks stepping stone and water features. Again are son really enjoyed the gardens.However the hotel was not over run with families there was a diverse range of people staying there- some families, some groups, some couples... we satyed at the weekend so it was mostly leisure customers.The only negetive thing i could say about the hotel was its location- you would definately need a car to get in and out of bristol-its appox 10-15minutes in car, and almost an hour on bus service a taxi is between £20-£35 depending on company.Very good hotel but definately need a car if wanting to experience bristol.

This hotel is wonderful. The staff are very friendly and the hotel itself brings a calm and relaxed sense to you when you stay. The food is superb as well. Unfortunately, the spa was fully booked but looked very nice. Next time i will book a treatment and leave feedback on how it was :-)

Excellent family friendly hotelFirst impressions were excellent, staff were very very welcoming and friendly, especially the staff working in the spa. Very family friendly, children allowed to have full use of spa facilities. I sent an email a few hours prior to arrival to ask if they could provide a dvd player in my room, and it was there ready on arrival with the pull out bed already made up for us. Free cookies and milk delivered to the room before bedtime. Breakfast was superb, excellent variety of foods. Will definately stay again!

Very good quality room and conference facilitiesRoom was spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Conference room was good - and the lunchtime buffet was outstanding! Overall, a great experience and certainly somewhere I'd return to.

fantastic hotel for all ages - we had two small kids and they were so helpful and great extra toucheThis was a last minute booking for the bank holiday weekend - on arrival we had been upgraded to a suite - which with two small children was a great result. The room was a good size, two lcd TV, good selection of channels - although no kids ones. We used the pool which was a good size for active swimming and also for a generally splash around. They had a little pool about 6 inches deep also. Very clean good showers and hairdryers. We didn't eat in the restaurant as a bit too fancy for our children;s needs - i did however see they could provide a baby sitting service - one lovely extra touch was you could fill in a form to have milk and a biscuit delivered to your room - how great was that. They also left a colouring sheet on each put up bed in our room; There was tea and coffee and a mini fridge in our room. The staff were SO SO helpful the whole experience was great and i cannot fault anything. There is also a Starbucks opposite the hotel. Yes the hotel is on a business park but you could not know that once you are inside - they have a small garden with a large pond and koi fish at the back - if my family (well my husband) had a good time you definitely can too.

Great gym and pool area - shame about the jacuzzi!Stayed here for one night on business. Quite expensive but very conveniently located just off the M4/M5. Room (double with double sofa bed) was excellent - larger than average and very well equipped. Gym was one of the best I have come across in a hotel, as were the changing rooms, and the spa (pool, sauna and steam room) was also very good. Only slight disappointment was the jacuzzi which was sub-standard.

Easy to find. Ideally situated for the motorway. Good solid hotel. You're not going to go there for a romantic weekend away, but if you're looking for somewhere to lay your head and want an efficient, clean, decent hotel then this is the place for you.

The hotel was very clean, and the room was spacious and spotless. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. They have nice extras included too, like having warm milk and cookies delivered to your room at your selected time free of charge for the children to enjoy before bed. The swimming pool and gym were very well maintained and very modern and up to date. Overall, a fantastic stay and we will definately be visitng again. I do not think we could have asked for more.

For a family of 4 with breakfast included, this was very good value in my opinion. We made of use of the pool which the kids loved and the food at breakfast was great quality too. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was plenty of room. The only slight negative was that the Free internet was down during our stay which meant I couldn't get the little bit of work done that I needed too. I come up to Bristol a few times each year with the family and if I can get another family room for this price again, the Aztec will be my first call.

Room was a bit crowded with the childrens fold-down bed in place, but more than adequate for an overnight stay. Breakfast was very good, and very busy on our Saturday morning.
