Great place to stayWe were able to leave our car at midday and pickup our key. The room was very clean and we had a lovely view of the garden. The walk in to Stratford along the old tramway is quick and easy. Certainly a place we will be happy to stay at again.

No need to look any further - book this nowAvonpark House is great for a theatre visit as it is located only a short stroll from the RSC. It is easy to find and has ample off-road car parking space at the front, so parking is not a problem. Our ground floor room was spotless and modern and everything was in working order. The owners, Bill and Cita Garfield, strike a good balance between being friendly and leaving you to get on with your own thing. Checkin/checkout quick and fuss-free. Cita cooks a mean (vegetarian) breakfast too!

This was an extremely lovely place to stay, right on the doorstep of everything you could want, staff were really friendly. We had an issue where the kettle tripped the electrics at half 11 at night and they fixed it straight away and gave us a new kettle. They do good deals if you are going to the RSC, and if you rebook.

Guest HouseAvonpark House is a guest house not a small hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was a bit tight, with a tiny en-suite. No desk to work at was my main gripe - had to work sitting on edge of bed - not good for the neck!! Breakfast was ok...not great - bit overcooked and "crispy" - but did the job.Nice place and handy to Stratford etc just not ideally suited to a business traveller.

one night in Stratfordlovely comfortable room overlooking garden. very quiet although on main road. Pleasant walk approx 10 mins to main areas via The Tramway walk - wooded path looking down on recreation fields bordering Avon, looking over to theatre and church where Shakespeare buried. During day walk directly across to get foot ferry. Fresh cooked breakfast. just timing of breakfast 7.30 - 8.30 bit early should be 8.00 - 9.00 as on holiday.Good parking - left car till 1.30pm on day we left. Excellent.

Great value for moneyAvonpark House provided clean, comfortable accommodation. The owners were friendly but unobtrusive. Breakfast was nice. Superb location - just a short stroll from all that Stratford upon Avon has to offer. The Old Tramway pub just along the road served a lovely evening meal.Would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Stratford.

Excellent Potential Just Needs a Few TweeksMy Girlfriend and I decided to visits Stratford and it was an amazingly lovely town and the weather was awesome. As we drove towards the accomodation it was not great, the sign was old and the place needed a paint job. There were builder's vans and scaffolding on the side of the house and this was not welcoming and wasn't mentioned when booking that maintenance was taking place. Despite this the room was of a very good standard and very clean. Lovely big shower and very very very very comfy bed. Sky T.V. was a plus too. However the breakfast was not as good as i hoped. The cereal toast etc was very good standard bu the cooed breakfast was not as good. The sausage was nice but the bacon was terrible. cooked an hour before and re heated clearly. All in all it was a good stay . room was great and clean , building work was annoying simply because we weren't told but it did not make a difference apart from the look of the place as it wasn't noisy. The landlord and landlady were really nice

Avonpark HouseWe have recently stayed at Avonpark House for one night. Having found the guesthouse we were greeted with a smile, shown to our room and left to enjoy our stay. The house is spotlessly clean with well equipped rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast was freshly cooked with plenty of it.Would recommend the guest house to anyone.

Outstanding. We could not find any faults whatsoever with regard to this very welcoming guest house; this was our fourth stay in Stratford and wish we had discovered this guest house on our very first visit. We will be going back and sharing the experience with our family. Outstanding is the only word to describe this guest house.

most enjoyable stayWe enjoyed pur stay at the Avonpark very much. We were only there for one night but found the room most comfortable and very nicely furnished. We did have a slight problem trying to get something on the television which had instruction on the bottom of the screen but we couldn't seem to make this work and gave up. The instructions for finding it were very good just one place where we felt it might benefit from saying to follow local traffic as we found our turn more by luck than managment. I marked food only as a 5 because I personally found the bacon to be a bit hard but this is a very minor detail. This did not detract from an altogether pleasant stay and we would definitely stay here again. Congratulations to the owners on their customer focus.

Spent two nights at Avonpark B&B and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The acomodation was very comfortable and really well maintained, breakfast on both days was filling and delicious. The location was ideal and it was a short walk ito the town centre, there is a pub a couple of minutes away where we had a delicious evening meal. would definately stay here again.

Excellent Value and Very FriendlyFound the guest house to have all the ameneties we needed for our overnight stay, including car parking and convenience for the town centre. The room was a little on the small side but perfectly adequate, clean and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was enjoyable and well presented.
