The hotel is located in Auburn, IN and it's tucked away in a shopping center where the sign is not readily visible from Seventh Street. The hotel has a very gentle ambience featuring screen porch and sun room, nice sitting area in the lobby, and a very attractive breakfast room. The decor is late 20's/early 30's and it features prints of the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg heritage of the city. The room was clean and comfortable and it was decorated in the same style as the lobby and corridors, but brighter. Our room was on the second floor and the in-room A/C had to run all night, but the noise level was acceptable. The refrigerator worked well, keeping our beverages cold, and actually fereezing a small tray of ice cubes! Breakfast was excellent and it included waffles and fruit. A welcome change from the usual continental fare.
