I was in the Halifax Holiday Inn for 5 nights in April of 2008 for a conference in the city. This hotel is first rate. The rooms were very clean, the linens very plush and fresh. I enjoyed everything about this property: Staff, Room Service, Food Quality, Room Amenities, and Housekeeping were all there when I needed them. I will definitely stay at this Holiday Inn again. Right next to The Commons is a nice plus too.

We arrived on Wednesday and stayed two nights - we were within walking distance of major attractions and had a wonderful time at the hotel - we friendly and welcoming!

The service was great and it was fairly clean. The pool had too many chemicals in it. It discolored my son's bathing suit.

Beautiful room, spacious and clean. Parking fees. I was on the executive floor and the room was very nice. Nice added touch with fruit tray and bath robes.

The reception staff were beyond superb. The bathtub had hair in it. This hotel is located in a great location in Halifax. You will require a short cab ride to downtown businesses but could walk when weather conditions were favorable.Parking is available inside at small additional charge and the staff are excellent.

Nice, clean, very friendly staff andmet all our needs. The parking was expensive. This hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly and met our needs (adjoining rooms) I would definitely stay here again.

Parking wasunderground, easy access andgood location. Mattresses were warn and uncomfortable, poor quality linen. Friday night was very noisy as the rest of the floor was full of teenagers. This hotel probably has much nicer rooms than we were in. I believe we got the cheap seat, and our second night, the floor was full of very noisy teenagers. The hotel staff should have been more considerate when allocating our room, they were aware of the cheer leaders competition, and who would fill the rooms. We would have gone elsewhere had we known. We stayed here years ago and had much nicer rooms.

Locality was great, large rooms and comfortable rest. It is a nice hotel with ample parking in underground facility. The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location is central to the downtown, shopping areas of Halifax.

We met with friendly staff and very willing to help with directions of the city and any other questions we need answered. The food machine was not on our floor. Iwould recommend this hotel as one of the bestI ever stayed in.

Really enjoyed the kiddy pool for younger kids. Prices in the restaurant were a bit pricy.

My daughter played in the pool lots, we had room service, friendly staff. I would have preferred to be a little closer to the core of downtown. We walked twice, but in the evening it was too late for my daughter to walk. We had a great time. The staff was very helpful. The parking garage was a bit difficult to drive in, but overall it was a nice hotel. The rooms were clean and bright.
