Oceanfront view with private balcony. Awesome! Bed was not as comfortable as i would have liked, no fitted sheets for the bed. We had a great time. Located on the beach and within walking distance to many attractions both day and night. Enjoyed it so much, we stayed an extra day.

The staff was very nice and friendly. Only true pet friendly hotel I found on the beach. I have a 75lb Boxer and he was welcomed by the whole staff. Only had to pay an extra $25 cleaning fee, others wanted that per night. As they say " You get what you pay for" , off season rate is only $** a night. Hotel is older and needs updates. Carpets were stained but every room has a great view of the ocean. Because of there pet polices, I will gladly stay there again.

Great location right near almost all the action! We really wanted an afforable hotel that had an oceanfront view. This was a perfect spot as every room faces the ocean. It was really nice to be able to go out onto the balcony morning through night. We even spotted dolphins near the shore! You can tell that the hotel is trying to remain modern with new furniture in our King sized room. And visibly the room looked clean but it reaked of old stale cigarettes. Prepare to bring lysol, oust, and febreeze to have a 'fresh' stay. The bathroom toilet and bathtub had chipped porcelain (not very pleasant to the eyes) and the toilet almost ran constantly and had to be flushed 2-3 times to actually work. The hotel's dining restaurant was a nice touch and it is appealing depending on your taste. There are live bands that play until 1130 so if youre a light sleeper...request a room on a higher floor. Overall despite some imperfections..I really found it to be a nice, affordable place to stay. Think of it like this...only a fraction of time is spent in the room..the rest is to enjoy Virginia Beach and its attractions!

The view was great, which we could've gotten from any hotel. As soon as we walked in, there was sand on the carpet and the bed. So it wasn't clean at all. The pool was drained. We were also on our honeymoon and was walked in on by maids. We weren't even leaving that day it was the next day! Saw very few staffers, except the ones that walked in on us! It was close to a lot of restaurants and shopping which was the only good thing besides the view. Never stay at that hotel again.

I was a returning customer. Reservations done online - selected 11:00 check in time and selected a room for oceanfront w 2 king size beds. Payment was required in full at time of reservation. We arrive at 11 to check in to be told that Check in was at 4 and that our room was not ready. We advised them about the 11:00 check in and they blew it off. They said the best we can do is call you when it's ready. After my friend and I walked around the boardwalk for 3 hours we had to call to find out our room was ready. We get to the hotel and we were told it's not ready. The manager calls housekeeping to verify if the room is clean or not. The room was clean and we were allowed to check in. We get to our room - it was not what we asked for. It was one king bed and pull out sofa. We called down and advised them that this is not what we reserved and they then moved us to a room on the first floor. It was SMALL and NOT oceanfront. All you could see was a concrete wall - our balcony was the walkway to the pool. At this point it was 3:30 we had wasted the entire day we did not get to go to the beach or the pool and we had to be somewhere at 5. We complained and they moved us back to our original room and gave us a later check for the next day of 1:30. Parking is 2 blocks away. Next week we are charged for a room upgrade and late check out on cc. For 200.00 a night I would expect better service!

The dining room was a joint and the food was no good, but the location was good. The carpet and beds were old and lumpy and the tub was stained, but the service was on the spot. Parking was a block away and there was just a small area to pull into for check-in/check-out. We agreed we had a good time, but we would not recommend this hotel.

Bed was comfortable. I got lied to. We wanted to stay another night, she says the rooms are full, wait till morning when everyone checks out and we will move you to another room. If no one has a set room number till they get there, why did we have to wait and then have to change rooms? I saw no sense in it. If we couldnt stay in the room we had, how come everyone else could choose to stay another night? Actually, I heard people having to move to another rooms in the hallway that morning. We moved to the hotel next door for the 3rd night. Was a lot better, plus a Jacuzzi. That evening our room from this first hotel looked like no one was even in there. No lights, no movement. We would not stay there again.

Very nice place to stay. Room was clean and if you ask for anything you got service within a few minutes. The only problem with me is the parking. Need to more parking closer.NIce place to relax.

I loved the location of this hotel. It's right on the oceanfront in the middle of things. It also has a nice restaurant. However, the elevator did not work very well. Also, there was never any coffee made in the front lobby, and when asked, the staff seemed to be bothered to fix some!

No housekeeping came in during our 2 days and we were only given 2 washcloths and 1 roll of toilet paper, had to go down to front desk at 6:20 am to get a roll of paper. Thats just RIDICULOUS!! My son was staying there in Jacuzzi Suite and there was food all over floor when they arrived in their room. There is no excuse for this.

Stained carpet, could see water damage stains on ceiling and drywall, shower curtain moldy, very unclean, only given 1 wash cloth if any, sliding door did not close properly, gap allowed bugs in Will not stay there again. Had to go to go to lobby for internet service, it was not in room.

The staff was very nice, the location was EXCELLENT. There was a beautiful view of the ocean/beach/boardwalk. The room, however, was icky. Half the padding under the carpeting was missing so you basically "fell off it" while walking. There were no towels and it took quite a while for any to be available. Thank goodness we had our own beach towels or showers would have been a problem! The staff did deliver them when they were available. There was no A/C in the hallway or elevators. There was a bit of an odor throughout. The hotel is obviously old. One to miss.

We have been to Virginia Beach a few times and had stayed at this hotel before. We think it has some problems that werent there before. Example would be that the room was not horrible but needs some help with cleaning. Also the elevator one side or the other or both is always having problems. But for the price and to be oceanfront it was ok. The staff was very nice to us also.

This hotel was like going back to the 70's. it was not clean. someone had used the room before we checked in. their was urin in the toilet. empty beer bottles under the bed. door to the balcony was broke. the air cond. was loud. the refrigerator did not work. you could'nt use the pool. the shower curtain had mold all over it. etc.

This hotel is an older Best Western property, that was not clean, had poor air-conditioning,a staff that was very neglectful of duties that they were responsible for each day.Our room was not cleaned properly any of the days we were there and I went so far as to leave a polite note as to what I would appreciate the room staff taking care of for us.I had to go to the front desk to receive some help one day and then never did get what I had asked for anyway. To add insult to injury while I had paid for this trip ahead of time with online travel website, the hotel presented my husband with a bill as he gave back the room keys and later said that they had"lost " the online travel website paperwork!I had a much nicer stay at the Marriot hotel the year before and will return there in future trips to Virginia Beach.

Room 715 was absolutely horrendous. The pad under the carpet had been removed and the walking was difficult considering one of our guests were handicapped. Could very easily trip on it. Only half the pad had been removed, making it unlevel. The room was only cleaned once in the four days, even after we called the housekeeping department. After an outing, as we were entering the hotel, we gave the desk clerk our keys to have our car valeted, as the handicaped parking was full. About 10:15 pm, I recv. a called telling me in a harsh tone that if I didnt move my vehicle, they would be forced to have it towed. In fact, they had my keys. They were the ones that forgot to move my car. No excuse for the incompetencies.

The hotel needs work. FThe beds are like fish bowls and the carpet seemed wedand not very clean. Location was great and the i Guess thats what you can expect for the price.
