What are your breakfast options?

Full English breakfast is £27.50 per person and Continental breakfast is £22.50 per person; children below the age of 12 years eat free. Breakfast is from 7:00am-11:00am or you can have room service as well with no charge.

Where can we dine?

We have many excellent restaurants in the area. We recommend L’Oranger and Galvin at Windows (French), Kai of Mayfair (Chinese), Sumosan (Japanese), Corrigans, Hix and Guinea Grill (British), The Wolseley (European) and for Indian, you can try Tamarind or Chor Bizarre.

What transport is available to get around?

We can book a hotel car pick-up from the airport. Most modes of transport, such as taxis, trains, buses and bikes, are available in the area, to all parts of London and also to destinations outside of London.

Green Park station is the closest London Underground station to the Athenaeum (4-5 minute walk), and there is a direct underground train from Heathrow Airport to Green Park; journey time is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. There is also a Heathrow Express train that runs to Paddington station; journey time is 20 minutes. We are 15-minute taxi or tube ride away from Paddington.

What can I do nearby?

We are very centrally located and close to many of London’s major attractions, parks, museums, galleries, theatres and shops. We are also a short walk from Green Park, St James and Hyde Park. Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, The Houses of Parliament, the London Eye and Whitehall are all within walking distance.

We are close to great shopping areas such as Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Knightsbridge, and the Kings Road which are excellent areas for shopping, dining and walking.

We have complimentary Wi-fi throughout the hotel.

Do you provide parking?

Unfortunately, we do not have our own car park, but we use one close to us. Car parking is charged depending on length of stay.
