Good accommodation in London at cheap cost. The bedrooms are very clean and tidy. I really enjoyed the stay. Excellent location, very easy for me to go around London. Customer service was excellent.

Brilliant value for moneyInitially, I was surprised at the small exterior and thought it looked like a B&B but when we went to the room, it was really cosy but posh. We had everything we needed. 4*s all the way.

Being (apparently) the first [website] booking for this hotel, there were some problems upon check-in which were resolved satisfactorily & amicably the following morning. The room was large and decorated in a modern & pleasing way, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet (no hot food) of toast, pastries, yogurts, cereals & hard boiled eggs with juice/coffee etc. Small but well presented; though limited if you can't eat wheat! My room was one of two downstairs (lower ground), and I was luckily so tired that the footsteps etc from reception above did not disturb my sleep. I would be likely to stay there again.

Good valueNice little hotel with central llocation, cleand and high standard rooms but very small.

This is a small walk-up apartment style hotel, must be recently renovated as the toilet fittings looked new and the walls in the room were very white and clear. Plus points - very clean and room is of good size for a London hotel, we had a small balcony-converted area to allow a sofa bed beside a full length window that was secured with chains to prevent opening in full which is great when you have kids fooling around! We feel quite safe here although there was only a lone receptionist as he locked the entrance door after 10.30pm, but you could ring the bell if you go out or come back late. Oh I need to mention the east european chambermaid cum kitchen helper who was very friendly and nice and changed all our towels every day wearing a big smile always. Minus - the dining room is sooooooo small (beside the reception desk) and we had to stand waiting for our turns to eat every morning, the food was bland - cold hard boiled eggs, bread and butter and even blander coffee. One morning we were waken up by wind blowing in air with odour of burnt bread. Beware of this room 106 whose window is directly above the dining room window! There is no air conditioning so we had to open the window in the warm summer. Further, avoid this hotel if you are bringing huge trunks, there is no elevator and you have to drag your luggage up the narrow stairs.Location - quite a walk for urban folks like us to Victoria tube station, it's easier to catch a bus across the door to Sloane Tube Station or Victoria Station, we prefer Sloane Station as it is less crowded than Victoria Station.

Great location, awful breakfastI guess I said it all in the title! The location is great, the neighborhood is really nice and it's quite quiet. But don't expect a 4* as you could get in another city: no lift, very small bathroom, and especially we were very disappointed with the breakfast (room and food). The staff was nice and helpful.

Okayif you need a bed to sleep in and its in teh right area then its fine, but if you think you are getting something special then you will be disappointed. Nice friendly people and nothing wrong with the place but you get what you pay for.

Very good location, reasonable price. Room was just as described, though ceilings a tad low. Helpful staff. However, duvet cover did have blood on it. Breakfast was below-par, but almost no noise at night more than made up for this.Given the price and location though, I would recommend and stay here again.

Great locationPeaceful and attractive area, enjoyable to walk to and from Sloane Square browsing chi-chi boutiques and cafes. Room small-ish but clean and comfortable with bonus of large windows to open for fresh air. Only real negative was slightly dingy carpet and worn staircase paintwork. Reception staff efficient and friendly.

Budget accomodation and well suited to our needs for a one night stay. Staff courteous and efficient. This is our second stay and I am sure we shall return provided the late rooms prices are available

Pretty street. Single room on the ground floor. Very small but clean, neat and good value at £59 (Laterooms rate). If it had been more than £75 it would have been over-priced. Looks out into the well of the building, so a real sense of being 'under the stairs' but fine for one night. Breakfast more of a hostel set-up. Narrow area of lobby, with self service coffee machine etc. Very friendly staff, which counts for a lot.

Cosy and ConvenientStayed here for a night in April. Nice area, and convenient for trains/tube. Hotel is nicely decorated and found to be clean and tidy. We got this for a bargain knockdown price and therefore got great value for money.

Our short stay at AstorsIn the general scheme of things in London in terms of value for money this is a good Hotel. The room was more than adequate in size, clean and well decorated. It was so convenient for us being so close to Victoria and Chelsea. The Continental breakfast choice was very good and not having a seperate dining room didn't detract from our enjoyment. Free newspapers were provided in the room along with Tea and Coffee making facilities. No complaints from us!

Clean and comfortable. A short walk from Victoria Coach Station and Victoria Railway Station. Good restaurants, pubs and winebars in the immediate area.

Although rooms are not very big, room was extremely clean and beds really comfy. Flat screen TV as well as coffee and tea making facilities in room. Hotel in quiet location, 10 min walk from Victoria Station, 24 hr reception and nice breakky. Great value for money, got this room for £80 on laterooms, but if you were to book at the hotel reception they were charging £199 a night!!!!!

Very convenient location to Victoria rail and coach stations. Buses to west end at end of street. Friendly staff and small breakfast room (basic help yourself breakfast included in rate). No lift. 4 floors of rooms up a fairly steep and narrow staircase. Carpet on stairs looked well used and needed cleaning. My supposedly 'executive double' as paid for on this site was the only type of double room the hotel has. It is perfect size for one person. No bath. Foam pillows not very comfortable but mattress was. Small 'bathroom' with shower. No additional toiletries (soap containers on wall) so bring your own lotions/showercaps etc. Safe and tray with hot choclate/milk/biscuits. Very large Plasma tv screen. Room was like a sauna on arrival but you are able to adjust the radiators and open the windows. However the room at the front can be quite noisy when morning traffic gets going. Lovely wine bar 'Ebury wine bar' directly across the street.
