Be aware that some of the bedrooms are very small .....n some dont have baths only showers. Excellent hotel location wise and the breakfast is very good. The bar prices are very high. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This is my second time to stay at this hotel. I paid for a superior double but the room was all bed. The last time I stayed here I had a much more spacious room and bathroom but it was on the street and I did enjoy looking on the garden restaurant and it was very quiet this time. The best thing about this hotel is the rooftop bar! The bartender is wonderful and I can't say enough about him. It was the only reason I came back to the hotel. The bartender and the rooftop bar with a spectacular view of Florence. You can't bet it.

We were very pleased with this hotel. Very central to historical sites, museums, shopping, restaurants, rail and bus stations. Room was very clean, and staff helpful. Street noise was very noticable when windows were open, but you are going to get that anywhere in Florence - it makes NYC seem rural with the noise level.Only complaint - high hidden, extra costs that they don't tell you about. For example, went to the bar once to have a drink before going out and 2 drinks ended up with a 25 euro bill. No martini is that good.

Avoid rooms on the Via Giglio as this is a very noisy street. Breakfast on Sunday was a bit chaotic with people queuing for tables

Nice hotel, close to all sights. Bit difficult to reach. Please note that you pay 30+ euro per night for the parking. Bathroom flooded when showering. There was definitively a big minus. We made a telephone call from the room, a couple of minutes abroad and we where charged 40 euros! That is fraudulous.

We had a great time here with a beautiful city, very nice people and great weather...what more. The hotel is very well located for people like us who like to walk alot, there was pleantly to do and see all over within wlking distance. The restaurants and bars were also good and nearby...The hotel was probably super great when first built but it's now a little worse for wear but it is still very clean and comfortable. The staff were also very considerate and helpful.

This is our second stay here. Great location, close to the train station if you arrive by train. Rooms are spacious and clean. breakfast is generous and varied. Would definitely stay again.

good location. we were with a tour group. the rooms are small and furnished with garage sale stuff. beds were hard and i like that. the bathroom tended to flood when we showered. be sure to bring a noise machine to block out the street noise. this applies to nearly all the big city hotels

I had planned to stay three nights in this hotel. During my first night I noticed insects in my bed (room 502). I told the reception about it in the morning, asking them to do something about it. The second night, the insects were still there. I got bitten all over the arms, back and legs (the number of bites cannot be counted: hundreds). I left very early in the morning, refusing to stay for the third night that was booked, and accepting to pay for the first night only. Having documented myself, I realise the insects were actually bedbugs. A week and a half after my stay, the stings are still swollen and burning. Not quite a first class experience.

the room at third floor had dirty and scrostate walls, the moquette it was detached from the pavement. I task that the hotel would have need of a beautiful restoration.

An unfortunate experiance, I booked online from reviews and photos shown. The staff are respectfull and profesional with good presintation. But the room we recived was small, old stained walls, squeeky bed, small closet and the furniture is all scratched up. It was depressing to be in the room I had to change hotels. I was booked for 4 nights but did not stay even one. I paid the first night that morning and left to book 4 nights at the Bristol. It was double the money but worth it. The staff were very nice to me but the structure needs renovation.

fine room, great view, but breakfast below expectations and one elevator out of service for four days... nobody is perfect (Snoopy)

This hotel has beutyfull public areas and very competent reception staffs. The location is close to the station and very convenient. The room we had had a warm touch but can be renovated. The restaurant serves a very good modern italian cuisine.

Beautiful hotel, expecially for its fantastic public areas: the paintings of the breakfast room can be seen as the perfect introduction to the wonders of florence (even if it is nto worthwile to pay 15 Euros every day for the breakfast). The position of the hotel is perfect for a visit of the city.
