Location is great. Staff was very corteus, especially at reception. We booked a room for 3 and was only ready for 2. We asked for additional pillows and towels, later to find out that the sofa bed was broken.

The location was only two blocks off Ocean Avenue. Our room opened into the stairwell. We were in low season for the area, nonetheless, our room was in the stairwell. Stains on the curtain, a piece of the faucet fell off when we used it. The restaurant was closed for renovation, so we couldn't get even a coffee or a paper.

It´s a good-small hotel. Near beach. Good staff. The price for me it´s a little expensive, but it´s recommended.

We had a great time at the Hotel Astor. Very friendly staff, great location and reasonably priced. The restaurant and bar were closed for remodeling when we were there so I can't speak for the food or drinks. The shower and bedding are worth the stay. We would stay there again unless we run into some big money.

The hotel lobby was beutiful and the restaurant was a lovely space. My senior mom was placed in what is technically a fire hazard room whereby she needed to access her room through the fire stair. She was too polite to object. Later she told us that the room vibrated the entire time because it was above their mechanical room and all their noisy equipment. It kept her up whereby she had to take a sleeping pill the second night. We on the other hand were offered a room whereby the window faced a brick wall. We objected, they then gave us a suite. The restaurant was really slow in service but acceptable. It was integrated with the beach access and that was great to be able to have umbrellas and chairs. I really hated the dance of having to object to their worst rooms. I don't think I would reccomend it for a discriminating traveller

I really enjoyed this hotel. the concierge service was great. I didnt like on of the restaurants he suggested (Tantric) way over priced. Two blocks from the beach. The Junior Suite was roomy and clean. They have a small sleeper sofa, but they dont advertise it, its very uncomfortable. Overall I was very pleased and would love to stay here again. None of the rooms have double beds, so hard to stay with a big group of people

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Astor for the first time and loved it. The staff was great. They helped us out with everything needed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Only thing needed was a pool and since Johnny V's is closed during summer, take out the menu from the rooms. Thank you to all the staff at the Astor!!

This was my first stay at this hotel as well as Miami. This is a small hotel, so the rooms aren't going to be extremly huge. I loved my room, the decor was setup nicely. The room and the hotel smelled so GOOD!!! The hotel staff was very helpful and nice as when I had any questions. The a/c in the room was fantastic. The only small but minor thing was hot water knob on the sink was a little hard to turn. What I also liked is that the hotel staff spoke to you all the time and made sure everything was going well. The hotel is a 10th and washington, which is a great location. The beach is just two blocks up. The resort fee was cool, which included 2 beach chairs,2 towels, internet, and $10.00 off p/p coupon for breakfast. Although I didn't eat breakfast, my bf said he said the sausage omelet was good!

The Astor hotel is a quiet art deco property in the middle of it all on Washington. The hotel itself is very pleasent and I understand is scheduled for a major room upgrade which it is in need of. The Staff are very accomodating and friendly.

The Astor is borderline swanky!. It is 2 short, scenic blocks from beautiful South Beach. The front desk staff are extremely helpful and go out of there way to assist! Although, the restuarant was closed, the offered a continental breakfast to supplement. Overall Great value for the dollar!

The Astor hotel itself was beautiful and well kept up. The room was in large and comfortable. Staff was excellent and friendly, though room service was a bit lacking. Overall a great place to stay and would recommend it to friends and family.

I stayed in this hotel in the midst of a long business trip and it was wonderful! Great service, great location, beautiful hotel. It made the stress of my trip easier to deal with. Will go there again.

Great location and very helpful staff. Not enough sound isolation between rooms. Timing may be everything. Little did we know that Memorial Day weekend in South Beach has become known as Urban Beach Weekend or Black Beach Weekend. It was like Spring Break Gone Wild! And since we are a bit older than the 18-28 year olds that came in (300 to 400 thousand) for the party and our taste in music and sleep hours are significantly different, we didn't enjoy it so much. To make it worse, the modestly sound insulated walls transmitted every Sub woofer beat along with conversations from the room next door along with the slamming of doors between rooms until about AM in the morning. The hotel staff seemed unable to do anything about it. For some reason, it was much quieter on Sunday night and Monday seemed more like the expected South Beach. One other point about our room (205) was how loud the water pipes were from the room next door. Again, back to the poor sound insulation. All that said, I'd stay there again, but hopefully select a better time to do it.
